I don't know why people keep praising KyoAni for their animation when they can't even hold a candle against legitimate free lancers. Their inbred style and workflow just fucking sucks and only works well for late night anime.

Till the time KyoAni invests in an actual anime movie film with lots of time to polish, they'll be forever stuck in mediocrity. And for those who say they have great animation, show me one fucking cut in Koe no Katachi that can match the complexity of Miyazaki or Satoshi Kon's film.

As someone who loved the manga I absolutely hated the movie, it felt like a really bad adaptation. Doesn't help that they had to cut like half of it.
