How do witches fly in this series anyway?
>>161378888
It's all psychological. All magic in the world of LWA comes from Yggdrasil, the witches are just using their bodies as a medium for Yggdrasil. A witch magic potential is basically related to her connection to Yggdrasil.
It's probably all psychological, about opening your mind and body to Yggdrasil's energy.
LWA AUTISM RANKING
Constance
Diana
Croix
-Normal, healthy people-
Lotte
Jasminka
Ursula
Sucy
Akko
Amanda
Amanda is the least autistic character in LWA.
>>161378987
>Amanda, normal
she is.
but you forgot to put Jas' and Akko closer to autistic.
>>161378888
It's basically just a spell, Tia Freyre "first order", they command the broom to fly and they ride it. Pretty simple, even Akko can do it.
>>161378943
Then explain Fuel Dream Spirit.
>>161379126
It steals people's potential of using their bodies as a medium for Yggdrasil.
>>161379126
Not him, but that literally takes away dreams and converts it to magic. And reduce their possibilities to use Yggdrassil.
Then again, not all of the people that was at Shiny Chariot's show had what it takes to be a magic user.
>>161378888
The harder you make the broom dig into your crotch, the better off you'll be. Magic is fueled by sexual arousal/frustration in this world.
>>161379393
Will the Blu-rays remove the underskirt?
>>161379393
This is actually true in real witchcraft, the broom is just a phalic symbol
The main problem with LWA TV was actually the lack of people using magic. Even Yoshinari admitted this and he said it was because animating magic took extra animator skill.
I wonder how they could get overcome that limitation. Making LWA an split-cour kinda deal?
>>161379457
>I wonder how they could get overcome that limitation.
Hire more animators?
>>161379457
It's actually a good thing not many people used magic, otherwise it would have been a hot mess of quality like KLK
>>161379517
They can't get away with it in S2 since magic is back to the world, though.
>>161379582
They could always just say that while magic is back not everyone knows how to use it.
>>161379457
They were already reusing the same effects for all kind of spells, just make up an explanation for it and the problem is solved, not everything needed to be flashy like the Words of Arcturus or Chariot shows. Unless he actually means "flashy magic" instead of just "magic", but the girls being able to use magic freely in their adventures would be an improvement.
>>161379447
Well, "witches" used to make some strong hallucinogens, but they would get sick if they drank them. However, if they smeared it on their skin, they could get high without throwing up later. The broom was probably longer lasting since the substances leeched into the wood.
by riding on my penis
>>161379650
That has always been the case even during the magical crisis..
The only yuri pairing i like in this series is Hanna x Barbara and even then i think they are just into each other and straight in any other case.
>>161379729
I just wonder if magic racism starts to reoccur in greater numbers.
>>161379393
So what happens if the broom makes you cum? You drop out of the sky?

Witchpedia from the official site:
>Witches
>The history of witches dates is extremely long; the first recorded witch existed at least 2500 years BC. Being a witch is a profession, you become a witch through practice and study. You don’t need to be of a witch family to be a witch but you need to have the natural talent for it. Most people won’t be able to use magic no matter how hard they train. The use of magic has been relegated through a second plane due to advances in science and technology and these days it is considered a relic of the past. The abuse of magic and crimes committed using magic are extremely forbidden and cruel punishments have been inflicted on offenders.
>Luna Nova
>Luna Nova was founded in the 5th century and has a 1600 year history. Since it’s common that magic is an inherited trait, family lines and lineages have been emphasized but due to the lack of successors for many families, due to either children not interest in magic or witches not having daughters, they’ve been accepting everyone with magic aptitudes in recent years. Luna Nova has many specializations and their students can dedicate themselves to different professions. Due to living among witches all their lives, many Luna Nova students are a bit lacking in their common sense.
I want an angry Diana episode in which she is extra touchy because it's that time of the month!

How'd I do so far?
Gonna go rapier mage.

Diana is not autistic at all. She's the popular, rich driven-student girl. And Sucy and Akko are more autistic than Lotte.
>>161380324
She didn't have any real friends or significant social interaction before her arc.
>>161380397
You are aware that people can be social outcasts and it NOT be because they're autistic, right?
>>161380324
>Lotte
>Not autistic
She's just good at hiding it. No one that has no social interaction as a child and then chooses to live in the world of books to the point of reading over 300 volumes of Not-Twilight is normal. I bet under her shy facade she has a ton of kinks and has written her share of fanfiction. If she found these threads it's more likely that she would secretly praise them in hope of more slutty OC than condemn them, that's the kind of person Lotte probably is.
>>161380493
I refer you to >>161380452
>>161379777
The exact opposite happens. They completely lose control and shoot straight up into the air at 80mph. Most witches fail to survive the experience.
>>161380643
So witches need to master edging if they want to fly for extended periods of time? That's hot.
>>161378888
That genki dork scene still warms my heart
Imagine Yoh trying to do this, he was all awkward in the previous stream when all he had to do was wave his hand.
How fucking cool would it be to fly a broom, that would be the tits
Say something nice about this coke addict.

Is there an art book that a yuropeon with no Nippon connections can realistically acquire for ~$50 or less?

You can buy the chronicles book from cdjapan for about that price depending on your shipping. It's not really an artbook and more of a data book though.
