Now Tsubasa and Sodachi's roles seems to be overlapping but their advises are miles apart. Tsubasa says that it is fine even if Araragi has both Shinobu & Hitagi as long as he does not hurt Hitagi. While Sodcahi outright says that Araragi should just break-up with Hitagi already. Between these two, I like Sodachi's advice more.

And indeed in the short time she appeared Nisio gave her a role in giving advice and support to people in trouble since nademonogatari, including ultimately taking a job after the town hall worker that supported her and probably many other children in trouble. To be fair, she did benefit Araragi with her very first riddle, so Fiasco wasn't the first. It's because he refuses to expand on their relationship past Bake. Senjyogahara has become an almost non-existent force in the series and I wouldn't be surprised if she just straight up disappears one day.

I actually agree with that in a sense that Araragi was a mere plot device in Bake in relation to Senjougahara. She is a simple yet interesting character and her interaction with a love interest fleshed her out in Hitagi Crab pretty fast, what remained is said position with that love interest, which now isn't interesting at all. Her arc with Kaiki was great in terms of character chemistry and dialogue and I really want Nisio to drop that girlfriend gimmick already and write her as her own character, like she was in Bake. Nowadays she's just appearing with Araragi to say a few words about how she's trying hard to be his lover and fuck off immediately for a season or two. Her relationship with Araragi isn't interesting at all and she has much bigger potential outside of it. Plus, to be honest, Araragi is silent through his interactions with her, a mere medium for the audience, he has better chemistry with everyone else in the series.
