What will he do?
Looks like Hanzo, and looks like he's fucking pissed (Probably because Momoze dies.) I haven't seen the raws if they're out yet though.
I'm still hoping that some kind of twist happens like Hanzo faking her death to keep her safe, but that's just hopeful thinking.
That's Genji, he was in the Seeker Test arc and is now assisting the Seeker Organisation and Gulapiga in the Shadow Lands Exploration and now in the Ghagyn Inheritance Battle.
Goodnight, me and my wife Pitou are going to bed and cuddle.
No, dumbass. It was shown earlier it can sense hostile intentions towards the prince. If it did kill theta, it did itself. The small amount of blood suggests something else happened, though.
WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP *HOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNK*
So, everyone said that there traces of blood but I fail to see them
I wonder what his expression would be like if it turns out that Momoze poisoned herself with something to hide her vitals and fake her death. Would he be more pissed off? would he cheer up? would he be confused?
Oito sees Momoze being strangled to death in an oddly sexual way which shocks everyone. She tries to continue using Sayird's ability for reconnaissance and Kurapika feels bad about making her do it and tells her she can stop. Oito picks up on the fact that Kurapika is only saying that because he feels like she's only doing it on his behalf and slaps his hand away, telling him that she won't stop despite the traumatic experience because she's doing this for Woble, not Kurapika. Kurapika is put in his place and reminded he's not the only person with a stake in the war.
Halkenburg is number 8 and Halkenburg considers Tserriednich a friend and the only person who understands him (presumably doesn't know about Tse's 'hobby') so it's likely that, for his own survival, even though he isn't in the running he still needs protection, especially given his vision of all his bodyguards dying. They might have made an offscreen alliance or the vision was actually Tserriednich killing his guards and the room number was foreshadowing? Only time will tell I guess.
Goddamn Bisky in a suit is so cute.
Also I like how Oito reacts to everyone else being so jaded about death, I like her more with every chapter.
Would Togashi have the balls to develop a real romantic relationship from Kurapikas point of view and when he finally confesses Oito turns him down and tells him that she never intended to let him on like that since she is actually in love with the king?
Or would that ensue too much risk from Jump and their self inserting fanbase?
huh-oh look like i make mistake.
only a hiatus can fix this
You can ship them, but don't think it can happen. If you seriously believe it's a possibility you are as delusional as fujoshits. Romantic development for Kurapika is possible, but certainly not with Oito.
kurapica has already told her that he does't care about his life and that he will protect wobble and her to death.
kurapica was being a man and didn't want to see the queen stress her self out even more, then she already is.
shes in a emotional state, and overreacted, blowing up last chapter con act
I want to see her face and action now that kurapica out of the games for the next 3 days.
now that she surrounded by others who would love to choke her to death aswell.
never diss kurapica
Kurapika has his goals in mind and Oito is a queen and mother of a children. After all of this is over it'll be the end. Even if Kurapika were to fall in love with her, he would not act differently and just leave after the mission is complete.
Heh, she has been killed by a Kage Bunshin.
Poison that causes a slowing of the pulse and breathing would be more likely. It's a classic for faking one's death, and they tend to get used in stories in situations where it lets the character survive things that would otherwise suffocate them. Not saying she used it, but it's more likely than a substitute of any sort.
Hey, that doesn´t look too bad.
I thought Theta would look panicked and that there would be a lot more blood.
Is she going to make it?
I can't spell things worth a damn at the best of times, a foreign name is so far off that if it's not something that I instantly recall I'm not going to bother. Hell I had to look up how to spell foreign, despite having read it multiple times today, and I think typing it twice.
To everyone who ships Pika x Oito
Remember that Oito fucked this fat disgusting pig. She rode his nasty, stubby little cock and she LOVED it.
Do you want best boy taking this horny toad's leavings? No, no you do not.
you fucking serious dickhead, even the manga calls her melody. she always been knowed as melody.
I dont even recall a character calling her senritsu.
uhhh, Killua sitting at a tatami table while Gon poors him loose leaf tea? with like a comfy winter vibe or something
>thank you for the offer
Only other one atm that isn't on hiatus is JoJolion, but that's monthly.
That's because Melody is a direct translation of her name, Senritsu, why they translate her name I do not know. Characters aren't calling her Melody, they are calling her センリツ(Senritsu).
That's the point. Hanzo said he can make clones, but we don't know how he makes them. For the killer though, his thought is that he doesn't use dummy clones but complex clones like Kastro. So, all it means is that Hanzo can make clones but it's not said what kind of clone it is nor is it said if it's his main ability.
I always thought he was pretty hot, I'm bummed out by the fact that he hasn't gotten more time to be fleshed out
Fuck Kurapika too. He's almost completely morally bankrupt.
Also, Kurapika is going to use some ill-advise manner to teach the guards nen or just lie to them. Theta is right about he length it takes to learn nen fro most people.
Togashi sure is a god at making villains. You'd expect a master nen user with one hundred years of experience to be threatening, but seeing a nen genius in the making with potential many times bigger than Gon is even more effective.
If someone like Killua is considered a prodigy and admittedly has some amazing nen techniques, just what the fuck would Tserriednich become if given enough time?
We all know he's going to die one way or another.
He's the peak of human potential and form, like a Greek statue or an ubermensch. He'll be contrasted to Meruem in that they're both the pinnacle of their kind and possess immense strength, but Meruem the ant will end up having more humanity in him than Tserriednich the human. The real 6th Calamity was human sin all along.
So what happened in this chapter can be summed up as:
1.The 12th prince has been killed
2.Kurapika collapses due to over exertion from using emperor time.
3.Hanzo is not a happy camper since his prince has been killed.
4.Tserriednich doubts Theta and "punishes" her for casting doubt.
what if hanzo is the killer? the guy strangling momoze shares hanzo's physique and being a ninja, he would be a master infiltrator and assassin which makes his rage and familiarity the perfect cover for a double agent
He's definitely going to be a major character for at least the first act of this arc, but I'm not certain about being an ally. I could see him becoming an actual guard to Woble if Benjamin dies early on though, since it is his assignment to protect Woble until he gets the kill order. If Benjamin is taken out then there's no reason for any of his soldiers to kill their assigned princes except out of misguided blind loyalty, and Babmyna seems too smart to fall for that so easily.
Of course they die, you faggots
Only one of them has actually professional nen guard(not battle type)
They don't even know how to fight
There literally no way for them to survive
This. We never get to see her face or corpse, killer-kun is on top of her the whole time during themurder and the bodybag is conveniently zipped up over her face right as we were about to see it. She had one of her guards help her fake death in a bid to get out of the Succession War and off the boat.
this arc has been nothing but a huge snoozefest so far with its glacial pacing
Now, this is interesting
None of the two resting guards could knew nen
Personally I think Kurapika will wind up stealing Babi's ability(he's a counter type) and using it to kill Benjamin.
Babimyna turned off his En because he wanted the give the queen a chance to rest(he thinks she's a nen user now so she could sense his aura and might be annoyed by it, remember how Pitou's En bothered the king?)
Just watched it. Momoze death feels really weird, like it could be fake. That said given that we know her ability already its likely that no, she is dead for real. What a fucking waste. She obviously had a strong personality, shouldnt have given up like that just because mommy is a bitch.
Oito managed to win my heart here too. Not often you see someone acting like a decent human being in this manga. The army spy is obviously nicer than he seems too.
I hope Theta just got bitchslapped.
>This actually surprised me
I honestly feel like you just going to report to Benjamin and get new orders. He doesn't know that oito has a single use ability but she's also still spying on the other princes. Right now relaying everything he just found out and getting a counter plan is more important.
man, I was definitely not expecting an arc like this when they first announced the boat trip.
to be fair I love it, but I know it's just going to hurt more when he goes on hiatus again. Then it will just feel like a waste of time.
Does this mean that best boy is dead or are him and Bateman just sharing party thots?
She's resigned to the fact that not only she, but her mother and brother, will all die because they don't have what it takes to be king. She's specifically talking about her mother and brother there, but her actions and mannerisms seem to imply she understands her fate and has accepted it. That or she's actually playing 4D chess with everyone and faked her death this chapter.
>That or she's actually playing 4D chess with everyone and faked her death this chapter.
That seems to be the case in this page her nen beast looks like it's active or doing something.
He is just using up a lot of his energy right now, and it's becoming exhausting.
He is no longer losing his lifespan, now that he not holding onto the nen power in the magic dolphin.
The plan to fake her own death seems kind of far to believe since she has no control of it.
There is also the problem with the bodyguards being stationed outside her room, so unless all of them were controlled, the assassin could not have entered the room without being seen.
Yeah, that makes sense. Still, I don't see how it couldn't have been one of the bodyguard guarding the prince. It doesn't require much effort to stand where you are and guard, controlling a manual clone should have been easy.
Anyways, finished my masterchart. Feedback is fine re: typos, grammar mistakes, better formulation, irrelevant information, missing information, inaccurate information, better pictures
Theta is fucking really hard with Tse, if you notice, he hasn't even been taught Ten since his aura is flowing away from him when using Gyo. Though that will make his anger against Theta even greater when he finds out the truth.
Get in a fight with Benjamin's guard and make him reveal that he killed Momoze to the other princes with some clever Ninja trick. This causes the younger Princes to flock to the non-Benjamin princes, isolating Benjamin and leading to his death.
It's just Mangastream being the usual retards they are, mixing up the dialogue
In my opinion most of the princes are expendable right now so I would be more surprised if she wasn't dead but I do agree it could of been done better. I was mostly shocked she bit the dust first because I expected her to have some dialouge with Hanzo if any.
I'm pretty on point with this anon >>161234657, for being the first prince getting killed this was pretty tame. Even when some scrub gets killed on this series, it shows that he's fucking dead, here she was chocked and then put on a bag. Maybe I'm overthinking.
>I expected her to have some dialouge with Hanzo if any.
Also her Nen beast was the one that did Damage to Kurapika's team. I was expecting more on that.
I want Kurapika to mating press me!
>her mom acting outraged against the 6 guards
>when she was the one who left her daughter alone with them knowing they were working for other queens
What a dumb bitch, she's the reason Momoze died in the first place.
It makes more sense that the first princes to go would die in more tame, less graphic ways. The succession war would naturally begin as a series of assassinations and only later would it fall into a chaotic battle.
>have your nen beast control a bodyguard to choke your body double
All going according to keikaku anon.
Give opinions on the Princes and why they might die or survive:
Death Flag Tier:
Camimy: Retard. One of the two princes who didn't send guards to train Nen. Showing overconfidence.
Sale Sale: Has a plan to gain the throne. Said plan is guaranteed to backfire because he has been portrayed as dumb.
Benjamin: Set up as the jobber. His plan will make him an enemy of all younger princes once it becomes known that his guard killed Momoze.
Probably Dying Tier:
Tubeppa: We know she wants to allow the younger princes to live, which would make the conclusion of the story too happy for Togashi.
Tse: Genius, but volatile edgelord. Antagonist of the arc. Kurapika might kill him even if he wins. As opposed to Tubeppa, the ending would be too edgy even for Togashi.
Definitely not winning Tier:
Marayam: Baby. Nope.
Woble: Baby. Nope.
Tychon: Too whimsical/delusional and thus probably too easy to manipulate. Also decided to not send any of her guards to learn Nen. But at least some of her guards already know nen, unlike Cammy.
Will probably get more character exposure but are unlikely to make it:
Luzurus: He started out as dude weed, but it seems like he is getting more development and real goals. He also has a pact with Tubeppa and like 5 Hunter guards, so his standing is pretty nice.
Kacho: Has a pact with Fugetsu and we know Fugetsu will be given more character exposure. Nen beast has been kept secret despite hanging out with a POV character like Melody.
Fugetsu: Narrative demands that she gets more character exposure and her Nen beast has also been kept secret despite hanging out with a POV character like Melody.
Halkenburg: Like Tubeppa, his victory would make the conclusion too happy for Togashi. But there are hints that he might get more exposure.
Zhang: Both ruthless and kind. Literally what you'll find as requirements for a good king in Leviathan or the Prince. Has already reached out to the arc's protagonist. Based as fuck Nen Beast.
>Benjamin: Set up as the jobber. His plan will make him an enemy of all younger princes once it becomes known that his guard killed Momoze.
i dont think that was benjis guard mate. all the normal guards wears suits like the killer.
it possible that not just benjis guard know nen, after all this a assassination arc with 150 temps hunters with strange powers
I did place some speculation in there, especially with the Nen beasts' abilities like with Halkenburg's and the prophetic death visions presumably coming from his Nen beast. Maybe I'll make it more clear it's speculation i.e. possibly grows bigger the more Marayam eats.
Well, looking at the images, it MIGHT have been Nipaper. I'll give you that.
Benjamin is still trying to do everything on his own and has a bad relationship with the main antagonist of the arc (Tse). He is definitely dying during the arc.
Yeah. Wobble has a chance to survive, but he is unlikely to win a contest created to choose the best possible King.
I didn't pay much attention to the Pika x Oito fags, but now I think I'm convinced that she really wants his dick
Because she's shit and was in one of the weakest positions. Honestly, what makes her death feel so off is how straight-forward and nonchalant it is. I doubt it was faked, but it's a little strange to see the first kill be so plainly laid out.
BY THE WAY, >>161232443 even though she's clearly old and smart enough to understand what is going on she's so incredibly calm. What if Oito is not the only queen planning to avoid the war? Considering how vague Momoze died it's clearly a possibility.
Pitou would have been able to sense what she was writing with en too fuck this shit
If Tse actually went to Sale-Sale's room to kill him, that actually makes sense for his character.
He clearly despises uncultured/vulgar people and I think Sale-Sale was the best example of that out of all the princes.
So I'd understand Tse wanting to get rid of him first.
they're all going to die on this boat anon
I don't know why anybody would want a romance between Kurapika and Oito. Not only would it be an out-of-place element in this arc, but it's already convoluted enough as it is without more shit taking up time.
>pika wasted years of his life on saving that ability for her and wobble's sake
>she blows their cover after all that because she couldn't keep composure because of muh motherhood
>she straight up tells him he's not worth shit to her
>is left physically exhausted and in danger of being killed when he faints due to overuse of his abilities
So why is pika still helping? I would deliberately sabotage them after that
nigga she being a Tsundere.
she just emotional , after all shes did not mind kurapica puling the bullet on the two previous guard.
let see how she act now that kurapica is out of the game
I think, at this point, the most reasonable assumption is that she's just a narcissistic idiot. Unless her nen beast had some secret ability to create a clone of herself, she's dead. We explicitly saw the thought process of all six guards, every one of them was planning to kill her. And faking a prince's death seems like an unnecessary complication to an already complicated scenario, it makes more sense that Togashi is using Momoze's death to springboard Hanzo's involvement in the story.
Do you think Gon and Killua will get character redesigns next time we see them? They're both reaching the 15-16 years of age and they can't stay looking eternally twelve
>Implying Momoze is out of the game
Fucking grade 0 readers, y'all better get ready for Zombie Momoze.
Is it going to be like this every time a female prince dies?
is there anybody here who likes a female character without having to be waifuing her ?
>yfw the queen keeps using it
>forces Pika to stay in Emperor Time
>already said this chapter she doesn't care about him
>Hanzo will do something for literally the first time ever
Holy fuck, kinda hype
I like Bisky and Palm. Not as much as I like these though.
I like Oito and Theta in this arc, but I don't really want to fuck them.
I think Hanzo hunting the killer is enough complication for Togashi. And if any princes do fake their deaths, I fully expect it would end up like the reveal of the real Diego in CA, just some footnote after the succession war is over, almost like a joke.
Oito is dangerous and a moron. This is a race for survival, Kurapika and the other trustworthy bodyguards have pledged their lives to you in order to protect your son, she has absolutely NO right to outburst like that. The initial outburst can be allowed as it was a shocking jerk reaction, but to then clear your mind and express that you know something you shouldn't due to Nen is putting her and her team at a serious disadvantage. When you are working on a team like that she must realize that her actions cause consequence for everyone else working with her, not to mention she would be completely lost without them. Either choose to follow Kurapika's instructions as he is the only reason you and your son are alive, or fuck off from him and bring yourself down on your own.
I feel like those two are going to end up killing one another once the stress levels on the boat start to rise. Which survives doesn't matter, the living member will only live long enough to realize they fucked up and then either off themselves or get offed by a guard taking advantage of their devastated psyche.
Nigga she has a daughter and she just witness someone choke another little girl to death, of course she's not going to act rationally
Also it's a matter of perspective, she just prioritized saving a girl's life over all the scheming shit going on
Anyone else have a problem with Oito being able to see nen? It's one thing to see the dolphin since it's literally in her head, but I thought that it was incredibly convenient that she can now see other aura constructs.
Also it could have factored into this mystery more directly. If she could see the killer without the benefit of seeing aura it would either mean an actual person was there or a conjured clone. Granted Hanzo has erased the need for mystery in that regard since he's outright said this is most likely the case.
Still though, she shouldn't be able to see aura normally, it's not like her nodes are open.
Why is this the case? It only explains that she is able to see it because it's in her head. Much like the miniature bear was in that one gus head and only he could see it once he was possessed.
Kinda, i understand her being able to use nen but i thought stuff like using gyo takes practice and concioussness to make work. Like when that guy made a double agains Hisoka, he couldn't see the freaking gum and thought it was magic because he couldn't use gyo while concentrating on the clone
>Why is this the case?
She got "hit" with a nen power, therefore it acted as her nen baptism. It's not a hard concept.
Same shit happened with Rammot, except Kura's steal chain has to be a more gentle way to do it.
If that is true how come none of the other princes have developed nen naturally themselves?
One of the new rules to the nen system introduced in this arc is the idea of selective perception. Benjamin has the ability to see Aura but cannot see his own creature because of a rule built-in to the Beast itself. Free bear had a rule that once a Target was possessed only they would be able to see the miniature bear that continue to ask them questions. And then the queen was able to see the dolphin because of a rule stating that any Target that receives that earpiece is able to not only see the dolphin but communicate with the Creator.
Even assuming that the chain acted as a form of baptism I still don't fully buy that explanation. The concept of of men baptism is sending your aura into a Target I'm not sure how that applies to tagging somebody with an ability. And it still does not mesh with how the other princes were equally injected with somebody else's aura.
Emperor Time only takes Kurapika's life when he's storing an ability otherwise it's just exhausting. Steal Chain is pretty balanced now since he can't store abilities for long periods of time
>If that is true how come none of the other princes have developed nen naturally themselves?
You mean because of the jar ceremony? Not sure but it must follow different rules, maybe getting tagged with a parasitic nen beast doesn't act as baptism.
So are you telling me that a dude that trained on nen for what, 1 day? Is able to kill an expert on the subject face to face no prob? Is Tserriednich potential bigger than Gon's? Does that means that Tserriednich can pull off a pic related too? If Tserriednich dies before doing pic related then Togashi writing suck balls.
Yeah but if Steal Chain didn't take his life when he stored abilities then he could store any ability he wants for any situation. Honestly steal chain is pretty garbage because theirs no way it's going to penetrate anyone's defenses.
Gon probably has connections with DC, especially with his grandfather doing shit there and mistery about his mom, and might not even be a human (just like MC in YuYu Hakusho). Ging knew for sure that he wouldn't die, Gon is something else.
>She took years to learn Gyo
Where was this stated?
>every other characters learns that shit in a couple of days
Gon, Killua... the list could go on right.
>She ran away during CA
Oh, so you are that retard from the last thread. Every Zodiac is a coward by that logic. There is no proof that she was scared.
>Is able to kill an expert on the subject face
Even if they tell is dead, you do realize it would be the nen creature that did the kill rather than mustache Prince himself right? I wouldn't exactly credit him with that kill as all he has to do is exist and the creature will do the job for him. Unless you're going to tell me that the prince that just died and also an expert
>She took years to learn Gyo
That's like saying everyone but the ants are talentless because they knew nen at birth
>She ran away during CA
It didn't concern her or was her job so she didn't give a shit
Also she could mop the floor with your favorite character
What if Hanzo helped Momoze fake her death in secret? If he can create clones, he might be able to create a fake corpse. If so, what Oito saw might have been Hanzo or a clone of his preparing the fake, while Momoze had already been hidden somewhere.
So because I autocorrected Theta to say tell the rest of my paragraph Was in comprehensible to you? You're dumb enough to believe that if the horse killed her, that must mean that mustache Prince's vastly better than her. The only retard here is you
