Daddy is happy to see his cute baby again
Yes. Can't believe he can lie to these kids about his popularity and intellect when he was a kid. Even worse is that nobody will tell them otherwise, so they'll grow up believing Naruto was top of their class. He should be ashamed of himself.
Probably because they look at the shipping thing as it is a competition of the waifus instead of watching out which girl fits the boy at best.
My opinion now: Sarada doesn't really fit as a wife for Boruto, but instead of a best friend thing like Tsunade was to Jiraiya.
Sarada would kill his blodline, if she marries an Senju/Uzumaki or an Hyuuga. It would be a pretty big deal for them to kill the Uchiha family not counting Shin, who doesn't even have Uchiha bloodline.
And in that case it looks like Mitsuki is just made for her. Artificial blood, which is perfect to revive the Uchiha clan. They are on the same team and pretty much the Sasuke&Sakura of this gen. While BoruSumi is a reversed NaruHina and them sharing a strong bond after the ghost incidents (not speaking about both having seals and Boruto's Jougan being somehow connected to her Nue). With that, BoruSumi doesn't feel like some forced ship like SasuSaku or to an lesser extend NaruHina, since both seems to actually care for each other.
My honest opinion about the whole shipping thing.
You'd think he'd tell people that he was a fuck up. It'd be way more inspirational to hear some underdog punk that nobody liked became Hokage with hard work (and good genes) instead of pretending he was top of the class and super beloved from the beginning.
History is written by the winners. Everything Naruto says it's the truth
One that would have a sharingan in one eye and a byakugan in the other as Kishi said. Actually not very impressive, and maybe he would be even nerfed compared to the pure bloodlines of his/her parents.
Jeez that seems inconvenient. You have super sight and 180 degrees of vision on one side of your body, and on the other side you can't see half as far but can follow movements super well.
That would be disorienting as shit.
>respected scientist Orochimaru
>Zetsu controlled by evil Mizuki
>Naruto and Sasuke had a fight for fun
>calls the bond of Sumire and Boruto farfetched
>implies that Sumire is into Inojin when all the interaction they had is that one time she said his name when he was talking about Boruto
Even before the Nue incident, the male character with whom Sumire interacted the most was Boruto man. You should have tried with Mitsuki.
>And in that case it looks like Mitsuki is just made for her.
sumirefags' delusion. Trying to get rid of sarada by pairing her with mitsuki.
Mitsuki wasn't made for Sarada sorry to bust you bubble
Wachu expect famalampai?
>"Sasuke was a troubled child- just like me"
>"Sasuke was pitiful orphan- just like me"
>"Sasuke had a boner for me- just like I did"
>"Sasuke was a dense mofo who can't tell if a girl likes him- just like me"
>all the interaction they had is that one time she said his name when he was talking about Boruto
no. Inojin was also painting with her and talked about her stalker and her being popular, she blushed. He also talks to her in episode 14
I assumed that each eye saw 180 and it combined for 360.
If only one eye is the byakugan wouldn't the sharingan eye have much less of a visual circumference, causing their vision to be more like..270 at best.
It's not both of the individual byakugan eyes are seeing a full 360, right?
>Your edgy powers make you more powerful as you suffer
>You learn how to control lightning in order to kill your brother
>You can literally create a thunderstorm and summon a giant lightning dragon from the thunderstorm
>Buy you can't generate a small charge to power your phone
>You can create spacial holes that allow you to warp reality and move over incredible distances
>But you can't use a small one to take some spare batteries whenever you need
Fucking Ninja Phones, man. This is why Naruto spared Orochimaru, the average scientist is useless and Naruto needs Orochimaru to make better tech.
>if it wasn't for Naruto fucking with history all the leaf village people would know how fucked up the Uchiha were.
>All of them shun Sarada for no reason.
>She starts acting out to get attention
Naruto was just trying to keep her from having his childhood.
She blushed because she was being made fun, and in that same episode, she hid behind Boruto. And in episode 14 he didn't even had a proper conversation with him. They haven't had even a proper conversation.
Naruto's value is not in his ability as an administrator, but as a symbol and a diplomat. Kakashi advanced society, Naruto made that possible by being both diplomat and deterrent, 99% of the reason peace stuck while guys like Raikage Uncle Ruckus were building moon cannons
I don't think has a straight pro Uchiha agenda. Just a hide the mess Uchihas did agenda but with only intention that Sarada and Sakura could live in peace. Also he doesn't acknowledge anything from Orochimaru, they just have him as a valuable contact. And the shit with Akatsuki members true motives could also stay hidden. It's not that very one knew them
Reminder that CHADsuke is the best character in this mediocre series. He did absolutely nothing wrong and Sakura deserves to be cucked by him!
He's not even doing a good job of rewriting history if there's a literal book in the ninja library available to children detailing that the mangekyou sharingan happens when uchiha get too many brain problens
I thought his name came from lightning bolt, not like the bolt from nuts and bolts. What the hell?
Boruto cared for her and Sumire also cared for him showed when Boruto asked if she was the culprit. And at the end of episode 15, she probably started to admire him, while Boruto still cared very much about her after the incident, like exaggerating when Inojin told him she'll maybe change the school. It's more strong bond than Sarada, since he actually interacted with her more than her currently.
And no, she doesn't have a crush on Inojin. He told out loud that Boruto rides his father's coattail, something she doesn't want Boruto to hear.
I ain't a saradafag though. I just like to laugh at you because sumirefags are super annoying
>Lenghty transformation sequence where Cho-cho gives a Magical Girl speech about destroying evil.
>Every time she attacks she gives them names like "maiden strike" or "sparkling light shower!", yelling them out every time she attacks.
>Sarada just sits on her shoulder providing support and looking super embarrassed.
>I don't think that's ever happened.
Are you new in these threads? Around ep 12-14 some anons were trying to force that ship because of the hospital conversation and their fight. Seriously, shipping her with Mitsuki is way less of a crack ship than shipping her with Inojin, though the one who she opened her heart to was only Boruto anyway.
The new arc actually dropped Boruto from the top three when a new episode arrived.
>hough the one who she opened her heart to was only Boruto anyway
no. She had a serious conversation with mitsuki as well. But seriously, you guys need to take off your shipping googles because none of the interaction between mitsuki/sumire/boruto were romantic
>heres your new classmate who comes from village founded to destroy konoha
>treat him well :^)
What kind of psycho teachers naruto lets have access to young impressionable kids? Jesus christ, give mitsuki a break.
I dont think that means what you think it means.
>implying Himawari will be relevant
It's time to face reality, anon.
Hope never Lasts.
You know that "opening your heart" to someone doesn't actually mean to fall in love with them right? That means that the only one that actually reached her was Boruto, and no one else, that's why their relationship is special, because he was the only one who was there for her when she needed it the most, she could have died if he wasn't there, and what he did for her won't simply be forgotten later. Hell, Denki is stil a big Borutofag after he saved him, and that's nowhere as much as Boruto did for Sumire.
>Sarada one day brings up that Naruto was super popular with the girls growing up and everyone (including her mother) laughs uproariously.
i'm so glad the visual design of the fox mode's been solidified as the clean one from the bort movie instead of the wispy dumpster fire that it is in Shippuden/The Last/Storm
super modes look better when you're glowing and on fire instead of just looking like you're emitting noxious gases
I don't think speculation is the right word right to use here, you seem to actually think that after this Smile actually fell for Bolt
and yeah i guess that's ok but, still kinda farfetched
If anyone is interested, I can take requests I guess.
Not even the same anon. The point is, this "hurrr fanfiction" meme is almost exclusively used on Sumire related stuff because some anon feels that his ship is threatened.
And what part of that isn't based in reality? The part that goes against your ship?
also holy shit they did the six paths mode reveal to the kids so badly in this episode, having him transform, waiting a ton of time, then the kids only react when the cape splits into the chakra arms. in the manga it was striking because he transformed and blocked the weapons in like a single panel
also it was visually great and i loved seeing it happen, but it was super dumb that sasuke needed to use three one-handed seals to run lightning chakra current through his sword. like holy shit he's been doing no-seal chidori since the beginning of shippuden. also "i can bumrush kaguya" naruto failing to clip a backflipping kid even once. the nerf is strong in these two right now, they don't even have the excuse of being drained of chakra right now
But BoruSumi is the pairing that receives fanfiction "tier speculations". They tend to words sentences as if they were true and bash other people with the, Sorry if it is this way, nothing I can do about it.
>They tend to words sentences as if they were true and bash other people
You can always point out what is the unlikely part of a post you know? Instead of being an asshole calling fanfiction everything related to Sumire with no actual argument.
Chouchou is doing her part to claim the best girl title.
>there's a Boruto manga, anime and movie
I read the manga but that's it. Is the anime and movie worth watching? I fucking loved the shit out of Naruto as I grew up with it, but I feel like it's kind of pointless since Naruto and Sasuke already are demigods. There can't be any stronger opponents than them.
>word sentences as if they were true
You're that shipperfag, I see. The assblasted newfag. You could just actually discuss but you chose to keep whining instead which shows that you don't actually have an argument.
it'll fall into dbz-syndrome of power levels getting bigger on paper but the actual spectacle of the fights never escalating beyond the saiyan saga
also like every enemy now has some chakra-absorbing gimmick or mitigating circumstance that prevents naruto and sasuke from going all-out ever. really the anime's worth it if you want slice of life nostalgia fanservice, the movie if you like cool fight scenes
>Has attempted to kill his both his wife and child.
Who else but Sasuke?!
Gaiden was a big mistake. I hope SP and Shueisha learn from this that Kishi is a hack and should not be trusted.
gaiden was the last hurrah of naruto being funny
i think we're seeing what happens when you take a shounen property and remove the main character from it for a whole arc, kids and people who self-insert into the bort don't like that shit
>Hinata drawn that big.
>Implying she is equal to Sasuke.
>Implying she was relevant throughout part 2.
>Implying she is more important than main characters like Sakura and Kakashi.
Sasuga, Studio Pierrot! Let the Hinatafaggotry be with you.
Knowing Sakura she was probably aroused and excited since that was the most attention she's ever got from him.
>OC character ever winnig against Kishimotos waifu
>being this delusinal
So this is the power of shipping?
later on nart makes a whole group of those kids piss themselves and collapse in fear just by channeling kurama's killing intent, i dunno why he didn't just do that. didn't want to traumatize chocho and salad?
getting subjected to killing intent was a formative thing for team 7, demon brothers or orochimaru or whatever, it'd have been good for them
Have to remember Sakura's big contribution to the war was being a battery for Obito after she failed to destroy his eye that would have prevented the Infinite Tsukiyomi from happening in the first place.
naruto did the combat equivalent of standing in one place and wiggling his arms around to try and beat a mangekyou sharingan user
i mean in this setting can't really downplay kids, itachi and kakashi were both about as young as shin when they were made jonin i think, and that was without mangekyou sharingan
it's easier to use the grabby hands when the opponent can't move. or swamp the guy with a thousand shadow clones so the kids are protected and shin is overwhelmed. or magnet rasengan, which is seemingly just a nonlethal cursed seal delivery system good for binding anything up to and including six paths users
i dunno, i'm sure in an episode or two i'll be bitching about why sasuke isn't firing his robot arm cannons and controlling gravity
Fuckin SenJews manipulating the media and rewriting history.
MUH 6,000,000,000,000 senjews killed!
don't forget sakura's big contribution to saving the world from the moon, being a battery for Naruto's tailed beast mode. then again that was also hinata's exact role, just hinata's chakra was immune to toneri's succ so it was more effective in the long run
i like how sakura and hinata theoretically have enough chakra to manifest chakra avatars or cloaks like their husbands, but they'll probably always just end up channeling it to facilitate susanoo or kurama
>Well, considering most her arc was about her suffering disappointment after disappointment, I wouldn't dare to say that he loves her
>reaching this hard
Shipperfags never change
How long till pic related happens?
If you mean Bort killing Salad, maybe. But who the hell would like to marry a crazy Uchihashit that will betray you when you need them the most? Sarada has already done that with Sakura.
Because you have to be a special kind of retard to believe that because the plot of gaiden was full of drama, that this somehow implies that Kishi doesn't like Sarada. I swear to god the moment people start to ship they get batshit insane
If it were normal drama sure, but you are a retard if you think all the shit Sarada went through wasn't done in purpose to shit on her and her family. Not even Kishi is so autistic to not know that portraying their family relationship in that way wasn't going to create a negative impact on their characters.
Can I just say that everything about the ep6 battle is absolutely retarded?
>jounin loses to 3 genins who are in the "lets learn what a summoning jutsu is" stage
>boruto still taking fucking forever to understand whats going on "hmm a friendly jounin attemping to kill me after I saw 3 people go crazy from the exactly same thing" He's literally a retard at this point.
>boruto not being able to carry 1 guy into the surface after he decided to dive for him
>shino summoning a massive flying insect under water after being defeated in battle when he already spent 99% of his chakra
This version shino would've lost to the choosin exam shino every time.
Shino was not thinking rationally and he was low in chakra because of the absorption of the Gozu Tennou. Also Mitsuki is not a gennin, he is at least a chuunin, if not jounin. He might even be stronger than Shino.
I just caught on to episode 20 today and the Boruto/Sumire couple seemed likely to me. It's not very subtle at how much it looks like Naruto/Hinata. From what I read in the thread though apparently some of you don't seem to think this is the case? Did I miss something? I'm genuinely curious.
the issue for a lot of people is that sumire could just be a minor character added for the anime-original story for the tv show, and that sumire herself won't ever come back as an important character ever again. no one really knows if that's the case, but, y'know.
Doesn't matter. Ukyo said Sarada was his favorite
I wish there was more Lee's style outfits rather than those impractical clothes every always wore all day every day no matter the weather. The clothes are one of the worst things in Kishis naruto.
It is likely, in fact it's the only likely paring that the show has hinted so far. It's the formulaic boy saves girl from the darkness present in most shonen media. The ones denying this fact are the anti-shipperfags and the butthurt faggots that wanted the child of Sakura and Sasuke to get with the child of Naruto just because one was a boy and the other a girl.
>If it were normal drama sure
What the fuck is "normal drama"?
>showing that Sarada had to go through many hardships because of her family
>somehow this proves Kishi wanted to shit on her
In no way she was negatively portrayed in gaiden. Again you are reaching pretty hard here. Put down the shipper goggles for a sec, Kishi portrayed Salad as a young girl who is hurt by her fathers absence. In which universe this would make her look bad? If at all, people sympathize with her because she has such a shitty family
She is not in the manga yet, but she is in the novels. The Nue is related to Boruto's Jougan too and so far she has more ties to the ayys plot than even Sarada. The manga is super incomplete though, not even the Jougan has made an appearance, and if she appeared it would have spoiled her arc, so it makes sense that she was omitted for it.
both Kodachi and the anime director Yamashita like Sarada a lot. Yamashita even want to expend on their conversation from the movie
>Q: Due to constraints on the length, what kinds of things had to be left out or left unfinished?
>There were various things, as I wanted to include scenes more carefully with Momoshiki, or continuing things with Boruto and Sarada after the ending.
Now he has the anime. He also wants to include cut-out Inoshikacho scenes.
I'm the anime-only guy from above and for me it's literally just how they've portrayed their interaction so far. She's happy when he wins, he acts as her knight in shinning armor, etc. It reminded me of Naruto/Hinata. And I usually take the writing at face value in these types of shoes.
he did write Gaara novel right? Plus the sand kids got WAY more screentime in the manga. Actually, they didn't even speek in the movie but got a lot of exposure in the manga, more than inoshikacho
>She is not in the manga yet, but she is in the novels
literally every kid from Borutos class is in the novels doesn't change the fact that they are just filler characters. Same goes probably for hawahawa
Because they had a lot of meaningful moments together in the first arc of the anime, which was the introductory arc of the series. You don't simply start an anime with an irrelevant arc. The ghost arc was just a set-up arc. Also, the Jougan works together with the Nue and the Nue is the only being that has activated it so far, not even Momo and Kin did it.
The Boruto manga is just getting out of its equivalent to the Land of Waves arc so it could very well be introducing the other classmates soon. The regular cast outside of Team 7 wasn't even introduced until chapter 34 of the original manga.
but that's not a good argument. "She's in a novel adaptation of the anime" well no shit sherlock. Doesn't change the fact that she's not in the manga and only in the anime event.
That's a stupid response to >>161202208
The "novel" thing has no weight
Yeah, he wrote the gaara novel
>Plus the sand kids got WAY more screentime in the manga
That's true, they even talked in the recap. I do hope the anine goes a step further and expands on their fights in the chunin exam.
>Not names and not shown powers. Things like Mitsuki meeting Boruto for the first time, Metal's incomplete team, Toneru and there being other stuff relevant which still didn't appeared in the manga really let it look "incomplete". But the anime probably reaching the manga stuff next year, so it's the anime is likely to become the new main lead.
I can't see this being some kind of confirmation Salad winning the Borubowl. Especially since back then it wasn't even planned to have a long running series, not speaking about endgame pairs.
She has ties to the ayys plot though, and that is more important than Gaiden or the current manga arc.
Yeah, with an incomplete design, and it wasn't even named or mentioned at all in the rest of the manga.
Not only that but it's established Shino was definitely not using his ability to the fullest. If he had they would've died immediately.
Also have you tried to carry someone underwater? That shit is hard.
Yeah but outside of being powerful that didn't really have much to do with like...learning how to be hokage. Strength is all fine and good but he still probably had to learn a lot of shit and work to master that power.
His eye power is still referenced/forshadowed.
See >>161202936 and >>161202671 putting her in the manga where it currently is makes no sense, the first arc of the manga was adapting the movie and the second centers almost only on Boruto
>hurr durr what I dont like is fanfiction
Arguments idiot, you don't have them.
Yes of course it has, because it's pivotal to the plot, it has to be referenced in the manga too.
-If Nue has no relevance later on and also Sumire's hand seal having no meaning, then the writer would've killed it off. It didn't happened
-If Sumire has no relevance later on, they would've killed her or transfer to another village. It didn't happened
-If Iwabe and Denki have no relevance later on and won't replace those two no-names in Metal's team, then they would've failed the exam.
Come on guys, don't be that delusional.
>Things like Mitsuki meeting Boruto for the first time, Metal's incomplete team, Toneru and there being other stuff relevant which still didn't appeared in the manga really let it look "incomplete"
Those thing are just added. They are not necessary. Mitsuki and Boruto's meeting are just a plus, we don't need to see every start of a friendship to understand it and like it. If I follow your logic, anime is also incomplete becasue he didn't see how Boruto met Shikadai/Sarada etc for the first time?
Toneri wasn't needed either if it wasn't for the anime. Anime didn't complete the manga, it added things, which isn't the same thing.
>She has ties to the ayys plot though, and that is more important than Gaiden or the current manga arc.
You don't get to say what's important of not in the manga, especially if the arc isn't over.
Sumire is less relevant than Sarada right now. In both anime and manga.
So? It didn't need to be completed because things don't have to be explained to you right away. It was to keep a mystery. And it's not like the anime gave much either. Animator even say the autor didn't really decide how it works yet.
Adding things and complete something is different.
irony is hinatafag like me is still bitter she was second fiddle in the show and how half assed it was to give her relevance near the very end with some out of place inspiration speech to nardo and few episodes later she tripped on a fucking rock
>If Nue has no relevance later on and also Sumire's hand seal having no meaning, then the writer would've killed it off, It didn't happened.
Or it was just to give her an happy end and to show that nue wasn't killed
-If Sumire has no relevance later on, they would've killed her or transfer to another village. It didn't happened
Your literally pulling this straight from your ass
can you make this one, but replace the "oh my service, neat" with "You're finally here."
>What the fuck is "normal drama"?
Maybe drama that is about believable circunstances and not artificial situations that depend only on the characters acting like retards to get stupid misunderstandings going on?
>In no way she was negatively portrayed in gaiden. Again you are reaching pretty hard here. Put down the shipper goggles for a sec, Kishi portrayed Salad as a young girl who is hurt by her fathers absence. In which universe this would make her look bad? If at all, people sympathize with her because she has such a shitty family
She is acting in the worst way possible. Abandoning her mother, disobeying the Hokage, getting herself in unneeded danger, acting on first impressions, and not trying to get the full story, and in the end, she just forgives Sasuke for everything with a tap and a hug.
Not him and I agree that none of what he says makes it definitive but if she was truly as insignificant as some say then they would have had her transfer to another school like they were setting it up in that episode. Haku got killed for example.
If sumire was this relevant to the plot, she would have existed before the anime. She didn't. Manga was said to be already quite defined yet, she wasn't introduced. Even kid Kawaki was shown before beeing in the plot. As you can see, even chocho, outside of gaiden, is still more relevant than sumire after the ghost arc.
For now, Sumire can only be considered as a plot device to keep the academy arc interesting with conflit, introduce boruto's power and Sasuke/dimension shenanigans. She disapeared as soon as the arc finished (minus background cameos like all the other kids)
Everything elso for now is fanfiction/speculation.
she still wasn't in the recap. If she's SO important, why didn't Kodachi create her sooner? And introduced her? Kawaki was shown as a kid, even thought he's not relevant for the movie arc, yet he was there.
Naruto tripped on a rock too. Then they got married and had two kids.
I hope salad eventually turns into movie salad over time. Her wanting to be ninja president and the little blush when Naruto B said he'd be her sidekick was great.
With the way stuff is going, it'll be 5 years before we get concrete shipping evidence so I'm not fucking jumping into any boats.
Oh yeah, how many chapters are out? Every time I look it up I find like between 9-15, I figured it would be way more than that.
>You don't get to say what's important of not in the manga, especially if the arc isn't over.
Sure, if you really think that the current anime or manga events are important at all.
>So? It didn't need to be completed because things don't have to be explained to you right away. It was to keep a mystery. And it's not like the anime gave much either. Animator even say the autor didn't really decide how it works yet.
It was introduced into the story though, and we know what it can do and that it's related to the Nue. We might now have the full picture, but the manga didn't even have this preview. I mean, in the manga, Boruto might activate the Jougan again and the others will just go "Ah, did your eye activate again?", but the manga will never cover the part that fully introduced it into the story.
Those things are additions, but necessary additions, which are expanding the plot of the manga. Toneri actually being involved to the Jougan and Boruto KNOWING that he has that eye still must be shown in the manga. Where was that shown in the manga?
If not, then all those things are part of a canon part of the story, which automatically makes them relevant to the plot. It's not just Boruto's eye, but also Sasuke using the information of the Gozu Tennou to actually travel to Kaguya's dimension. The reason why they never showed up Metal's team etc.
The anime was clearly ment to be a prequel to the manga, which adds stuff the manga couldn't do because they started with the movie plot, so they can leave the new stuff to the anime so the manga can get ahead.
It's the same stuff as with DBS, where the anime took over the manga.
That's some impressive level of insanity, I have to admit
>If sumire was this relevant to the plot, she would have existed before the anime. She didn't.
Manga and anime are both confirmed canon
>Manga was said to be already quite defined yet, she wasn't introduced.
Manga spent 10 chapters adapting the movie, which came out long before the show, and is currently in an arc where it would make no sense to introduce her without spoiling the anime, plus Boruto is the only prominent character in this arc
>Even kid Kawaki was shown before beeing in the plot.
Completely irrelevant point
>As you can see, even chocho, outside of gaiden, is still more relevant than sumire after the ghost arc
What are you taking about? There's nothing else for her to be relevant in
>For now, Sumire can only be considered a plot device to keep the academy arc interesting with conflit, introduce boruto's power and Sasuke/dimension shenanigans.
A lot of relevance for a plot device
>She disapeared as soon as the arc finished (minus background cameos like all the other kids)
The anime is adapting an arc where she doesn't appear because it was made before the show. All in all, you're making judgments while forgetting that the anime and manga are both in their SECOND respective arcs. You'll have to wait a lot longer for your arguments to truly be proven accurate.
>you are a retard if you think all the shit Sarada went through wasn't done in purpose to shit on her and her family
Are you serious? Kishi is more often than not completely clueless about what he's doing. When characters he likes become unpopular he has no idea why, and when characters he don't really care for become popular he has no idea why either.
I want himawari to get her own spinoff series, one where she's just doing her own thing but also looks up to big sis salad. Would kinda hope it's like what railgun was to index but maybe little to no stakes in comparison.
no. We were not craving for these information and they were not necesarry ro understand/follow the manga plot. Anime just introduced those things sooner. they're still not relevant in the manga.
>he anime took over the manga
Manga is still the made source, Kodachi and Kishimoto work on manga and have smaller input on the anime, Anime team and Yamashita have the liberty on the anime.
Anime won't take the lead, because it's behing the manga, it's that simple. It will just add stuff for a plus, not because they're necessary.
By the way, you need to learn the definition of necessity
You know a lot has changed with the anime right? Like Boruto's personality, that's why it feels so out of character when he acts like Kishi's version. Before the anime, almost nothing about the main plot of the anime existed in place. No Ootsutsuki clan, no invasion, no tattoos or Jougan. Ever since the movie and Gaiden were done, a lot of things have changed, and the manga started making the changes, the anime is the complete version of all the changes they did.
Sarada and Sumire are both shit, everyone knows Sakura AKA the queen of /Boruto/ runs these threads
Does Himawari even go to school? is there a ninja kindergarten?
We haven't seen any sort of school stuff in her room that one episode where she was sick and in the movie the only people who celebrate her birthday are like, Bolt, Hina and Fake Fish cake
>Manga and anime are both confirmed canon
It's not about if she canon of not. It's about her being relevant in the future. If she really was this relevant, like fans like to claim, she would have existed even without the anime. Because the manga is already defined. They know were they're going.
>Completely irrelevant point
Except it's not. You claim that Sumire wasn't relevant for the plot during the movie arc, but kawaki wasn't either, yet his kid self was shown.
>What are you taking about? There's nothing else for her to be relevant in
And yet she managed to be in every episode since the ghost arc, even when it was about denki and iwabe, even when it was about the uzumaki. And even now, she's getting quite a lot of screentime. While oh so relevant sumire doesn't get a little line or is even referenced past episode 15.
>The anime is adapting an arc where she doesn't appear because it was made before the show.
Gaiden didn't start just after the ghost arc. They had character focused episode, but nothing with sumire. No lines, just in the backgroung. plus anime already changed tons of thing with gaiden. They could have put her in somehow, they didn't.
>/ss/ doujinshi of a lonely "aunt" teasing a young boruto while her husband is on a long business trip
If it never happens then I'll just autismo ninjarun head first into a brick wall until I die.
I didn't know I could want something so badly.
Man, the anime has changed a lot of things. Before the anime they didn't even have a clue about what to do with the series, as you can see with the manga, which has no word on the important stuff the anime has covered already. It's covering a stupid shitty arc about a literally who fat man and a rich boy who is hardly going to be relevant again. Sumire is obviously introduced as a part of the new focus of the anime that wasn't defined when Gaiden or the movie was done.
You're comparing boruto at two different periods of his life. He's still the same in this episode as he was in gaiden and he will be the same in the movie, nothing changed.
>No Ootsutsuki clan
> no tattoos
Tattos were only shown in the anime with the manga panels. Tattoos are from the mnaga retard
Manga, chapter 1. They just decided to show more of it sooner, and only to keep the anime interesting. it's gone again now.
Wrong, so wrong. The otsutsuki were refereced as a clan for a long time already. We also know about their tradition of eating their father. A tradition is for a civilisation, not two people.
Nothing changed. things were added but it didn't change shit
>MS Paint drawings
These threads really are Super 2.0, congratulations on being the SECOND worst general on /a/
You idiot, I am talking about Gaiden and the movie, not the manga. The manga isn't an indicator about anything at this point, it has done nothing new or relevant. And as we said many times before, if Sumire was shown in the manga, it would have been a huge spoiler of the ghost arc of the anime!
Pretty much. It's a huge theme in Naruto than feelings matter more than actions. Even if said actions involve attempted homicide on your future wife and deserting home for 12 years.
Thanks, good knowing there is an even bigger shitfest than these threads

>It's not about if she canon of not. It's about her being relevant in the future. If she really was this relevant, like fans like to claim, she would have existed even without the anime. Because the manga is already defined. They know were they're going.
>And yet she managed to be in every episode since the ghost arc, even when it was about denki and iwabe, even when it was about the uzumaki.
>While oh so relevant sumire doesn't get a little line or is even referenced past episode 15.
Again, it's only been the second arc. It is far too early to make this kind of claim as gospel, when it can only be confirmed in retrospect.
>You claim that Sumire wasn't relevant for the plot during the movie arc, but kawaki wasn't either, yet his kid self was shown.
Do you not understand the purpose of a flash forward?
>And even now, she's getting quite a lot of screentime.
Because she was prominently featured in the manga, perhaps? Who would've guessed?
>Gaiden didn't start just after the ghost arc. They had character focused episode, but nothing with sumire. No lines, just in the backgroung. plus anime already changed tons of thing with gaiden. They could have put her in somehow, they didn't.
Now you're just not making sense. But for whatever reason you insist that she can't possibly be relevant even though it's too early to know that, and you ignore any signs of her possible relevance. Stop trying to stir shit over nothing.
>the important stuff
don't act like got uch from the anime. They're only showing more from momoshiki and kinshiki, people we already know. Importnt stuff is the manga, what ukyo and kisi are writing. You don't get t tell what's important or not. You don't know what's gonna happen. Just because somehting doesn't have alien, it doesn't mean it's irrelevant, otherwise it's wouldn't be in the manga. You're really stupid. It's like All the naruto arcs without aliens are irrelevant. They make to story, retard. And it's not like the serie is lead to a fight against otsutsukis. At the end of the day it's about a fight about the ninja's fate
The manga was said to be defined already, They know what they're doing, they know where they're going. Ukyo doesn't spend months on an arc for fun.
>anime only fag
If that were true, I wouldn't have already known about Gaiden, would I? Furthermore, the manga is also only in its second arc. But sure, keep trying to blend in, newfag.
You know why Sumire isnt't onscreen anymore? Pic related. Which was followed by a dramatic "But it's only temporal". She will be relevant later, along with the reappearance of the Nue and Jougan.
I watched the entirety of the OG Naturo anime as it aired and read a lot of Shippuden, finished the last two arcs off by watching the anime.
I've missed a lot but a lot of it seemed boring to me, aside from Killer Bee. Who is best boy.
Is Boruto worth watching?
>Ayys not relevant
>The entire anime was the story about Kaguya trying to revive
>When the entire ayys clan is about to invade
Think again you idiot. Also the part about the manga being set can only mean that they have already decided the general direction of the series, not that they had the entire plot set on stone.
>that level of delusion
The manga is completely irrelevant. The guy just doesn't know what he's doing, anyone with a brain and a bit of storytelling knowledge can tell you as much. Fat guy arc is usually the kind of arc you'd find as the first arc for a debuting manga. Not something you bother with when you have so much content already. Hell the very fact that he felt like he had to adapt the movie all other again is very telling: he's scared of writing shit. He could have just started the series after the movie and used flashbacks to highlight the scenes that mattered in it when he needed but noo, he drew it all over again because he's used to drawing shit other people wrote for him in advance, it comforst him. And now he's lost because he did very little writing in his life and he basically doesn't know what he's doing.
What is your sun, /a/?
Its already finished its first arc which was all new and was pretty good so you can watch that. After that you can watch the movie if you haven't already or you can wait for the anime to recap the movie if you want.
What makes the series great is all the character interactions that the original series sorely lacked. Stuff like Naruto taking Boruto to Ichiraku is great. It also gave Shino character development for the first time.
You posted him.
>BoruMitsufags are keep their shit to themselves
They are unironically better than both Sumire and Sarada fags
It's always amusing to see faggots like you being this triggered by sumirefags. It's not like any of the speculation said in this thread is actually wrong or anything. If it was, you could just deny it with actual facts and move on. But you can't, and this makes you assblasted.
First 15 episodes = good. Feels like Naruto part 1 with a darker atmosphere at the later part and some neat twists
Episode 16 is good development for Iwabe&Denki.
Episode 17 isn't that good. Found it to be fillery.
Episode 18 is also filelry, but with some funny moments
Episode 19-24 is Gaiden. The arc was "ok" in the manga. Nothing to great though. Pacing seems to be decent in the anime.
So yeah, watch the first arc. It's the best Boruto had to offer until now. The movie was also quite good, but not adapted yet.
Boruto is so fucking good compared to Naruto it's nothing short of a miracle. Watch it.
I think i've been around during late /nsunsg/
back when that went to shit, good times
Sakura is hated here while the most are shitposting trying to attack/defend her. Yes for her
Sumire is liked here while the butthurt Sakura/Sarada fans are trying to play her down. Sumire fans were mostly friendly, while Sarada fans are aggressive.
Not controversial, just one sided shitposting.
>I give the source
>S-Source: your ass
As expected of shitposter-kun
>it's that paranoid purpleshitterfag
oh boy, here we go again
Yeah, i can't really justify the shojoji arc. I honestly thought bort would awaken his seal this arc, but the next chapter preview said the fight is concluded.
A new enemy is supposed to show up though.
