i'll blogshit because my side is entirely informed by my own experience. i grew up poor and always been around drugs. my friends have been in prison or killed or killed people for all kinds of reasons. one of my friends was robbed and beat in front of his kid for a few hundred dollars. another shot someone breaking into his house when his kid pregnant girlfriend were with him. four of my friends died in cold blood in the street trying to deal heroin. one friend is fully with a cartel now and has been involved in killings and is proud of it. several times i've been in a shithole and felt like the only way out was dealing or hustling. and the only reason i never resorted to that shit is i was lucky enough to have a family that cares about me. my home country, korea, is fucked up because of the cold war. no real reason. and i might see a lot of my people die for no reason soon.

now i'm relatively successful and i spend my time watching anime and playing music. but the only reason i never got sucked into that life is pure luck. just the circumstances. i'm sure if i didn't have alcohol and nicotine i would have irreparably harmed someone. as fucked up as it is i needed drugs to dissolve those urges. because what can i do for people who are the same as me but never had the second chance.
