I don't think that's possible when she's always playing luck based games that have been prearranged by others. To ensure victory she would have to discover the tricks and then come up with a cheat of her own all in the span of one game, every time. Writing around those restrictions would be extremely limiting. The whole concept is fundamentally flawed, that's why it is best not to worry too much about it and enjoy the reaction faces.

Ultimately this is why I feel Mary is more of the main character then anyone in this show. She has an actual character arc. Yumeko is a hurricane. I don't expect her to suffer any great consequences or go through any real development as a character. It is the school and the students, namely Mary, that will be changed by her.

Nothing would be more out of character than having Yumeko making Bog-like preparations for a bet. Her craziness is the central theme of the story, it's in the very title of the manga and emphasized in every game. The writer even gave her superhuman abilities to justify some of the asspulls, but in the end it has to come down to luck at some point because that's what moves her.

Yumeko already has more than enough for her sister, she's part of the -Bami family after all (possibly the head). And she casually risks millions so presumably her sister's fine.

We still don't really know a lot about Yumeko, she comes across as a force of nature, but the way she just 'happened' to come to Hyakkou has always made me feel she came to get revenge on the Preisdent personally. All the -Bami families seem to hate her.
