We won't know until the final film. Right now it's not anything spectacular. The first two films were...well made I guess. They had a beginning, middle, and end and there was definitely payoff at the end of the 2nd rebuild. The 3rd had some interesting concepts but it was also a total clusterfuck and tried way too hard to differentiate itself from the original series. We won't know if all the trouble was worth it until it's finished. I'd say steer clear until the 4th movie has a release date
