AFAIK there is no exact date of Dende's birth but safe to say that after everyone else will die of an old age, Dende will still be relatively young and Piccolo should be around too. Namekians have a high life span, but who knows about Saiyans. All we know that they are capable of fighting (at their prime) till their 70s. But that doesn't mean they will just die afterwards.

I would care about a completely new franchise that worked around ki and martial arts like Dragon Ball did. Dragon Ball Super was so bad it made me stop caring for Dragon Ball completely, and I don't feel like that will ever change now. Dragon Ball Super was so bad I sold all my Dragon Ball merchandise on ebay and have no intention on buying any Dragon Ball related goods ever again, including the video games. I know a lot of people who feel the same way but they just don't even mention Dragon Ball anymore and stay the hell away from it.
