Satou's someone everyone can relate to whether it be underachivers, the unemployed, the average 9-5 worker who's unsatisfied with their job or people just not completely happy with the way their life has turned out. Unless you're a chad who's never experienced depression or had self doubt, I'm sure people would at least see where hes coming from. The only one I can think of is Aoi Honoo, but that was more anime than any other live action I've ever seen.
