Wrong, the lewd lolis and mahou shoujo elements are only one part of why Prillya was a success. It had a large, established universe to work off of and took so many different elements and narrative tones throughout.

The dramatic and lighthearted elements played off each other very well.

Prisma Illya is an alternate universe FSN and a lot of the lore from the core Fate series still exists in the background.
