Sometimes a kiss isnt as simple as you want it to be, it can be used as important turning point plot wise to hype up the series back and trying to retain readership, might be related to the manga target demographic, trying to milk the readers with current direction or a kiss wouldnt fit the character development at present time and shit.I'm just talking generally here on the reason why.If a kiss scene is needed then author would probably do it.You probably knew this already but just want to vent.
