Apparently there is already a live action adaptation. I haven't seen it myself but what little information I've gleaned about it the show seems to be a serious and pretty faithful adaptation of the books.

Honestly, a Read or Die live adaptation would be pretty damn sweet.

I've always wanted a michael bay Black Lagoon. Terry crews as dutch and Mila Jovovic as Balalaika. I didnt find any jap hollywood actors who would fit Rock, so I'll default to John Cho. Michelle Rodriguez as Roberta? Well I dont know that many actors who would fit the bill for the rest of the cast desu.
