I certainly like how it presents what is effectively an apocalyptic scenario where humanity is going extinct and Earth is degrading gradually in a very mellow fashion and people have just come to terms with it. After all, at least robots will inherit the world.

It's such great series, but for some reason, I just can't find it in me to read too much of it at once. Sometimes it's because I wanted to save more of its pastoral loveliness for later, and at other times I can't read it at all because it reminds me way too much of how crummy the real world is.
