Considering kyoani can't seem to stay away from shallow, angsty melodrama, no.

PVs come out for flashy looking shows which seem to have an interesting premise and good animation every year but end up being mediocre because the writing isn't great or it's mostly a rehash. don't get ya hopes up until we've got a real taste of it

I dont really think the premice is all that interesting, and kyoanis recent "serious" works have been pretty weak

the problem with KyoAni is that they always play it too safe. They know they'll make bank on the strength of the animation and maintaining a basic standard of quality in writing with some otakubait slipped in. They'll have to try something a little out of their comfort zone if they want to really make a splash
