That first episode, those Mami Kawada OPs. Where did the time go?
Is this what i think it is? I hope so.
>there is a much bigger gap between S3 and now than there was between S2 and S3
Fucking hell how did that happen.
>having taste THIS bad
MAI waifu for 11 years and counting.
Naive. But really, the main concern was the risk of failure and distorting the balance on a universal scale. Flame Haze are analytical by nature. They ain't going to take that risk.
Oh man I haven't heard of that name in for fucking ever.
OH GOD SHANA IS HOT
From what I can read, it is called Amphitheatre, and both Yuuji and Shana are in it. And we already know from the previous short stories that there are already Denizens opposing Yuuji's ideals.probably won't be translated tho
Move aside, best tsundere coming through
I have watched the first season long ago.
I thought it was just okay. Nothing unbearable, nothing good. I think I'll download and watch the rest tonight just because I remember it was quite comfy.
If there's unlimited power of existence in Xanadu, even fucking humans can learn to use unrestricted spells; it would be interesting to see humans becoming able to fight on even terms with Tomogara.
Honestly the depressing thing is Marjorie gets to foreveralone after Satou dies since he's an ordinary mortal dude and she's still an immortal flame haze and has to watch over a world nearly emptied of Tomogara for eternity. Maybe she'll just commit suicide eventually and send Marcosius back to Guze, who would then travel to Xanadu and make a huge mess.
>tfw Shana was the reason why I started learning moonrunes
God bless Shana, and god bless Rie.
Not even best girl in her own show.
Still one of the coolest fuckers around.
Sure would be nice if those slowpokes over at Baka-Tsuki would finish the goddamn series so I can go read it. How hard is it to just finish translating 1.5 books? Just sit down and pound out a chapter a week or something. Even shitty translators can do that. Even I, who can barely speak Japanese could do it if I had a text dump of the book. I feel ashamed even looking at them, considering how well structured and efficient the Chinese translation scene is, watching them belt out chapters every day.
>Not even best girl in her own show.
Understatement of the century. I rooted for the season 1 villain wishing he'd take her away and the MC could put his pOnOs inside the maid.
Both sides had decent characters, but yeah S3 did a good job of making the Tomogara faction likable.
I think we can all agree though that the Shana S OVAs were a mistake in the pacing and just outright skipping Yuuji fusing with the Snake.
JOINT > triangle = Hishoku no Sora = Serment > Light My Fire > being = Koubou = Akai Namida = Portamento > Yoake Umare Kuru Shoujo = ONE > All in Good Time = Tenjou wo Kakeru Monotachi > I'll believe = u/n > sense > Aka no Seijaku > BLAZE > Prophecy > Sociometry
The anison industry just hasn't been the same after she retired.
>I think we can all agree though that the Shana S OVAs were a mistake
Delete this, the OVAs were the highlight of the series for me.
Plus they played Portamento, which is a nice touch considering it wasn't made for the show.
That and the first OVA had a lot of Shana pantyshots.
That's TsunRie anon, TehRie is a different goddess.
Literally the best moment in anime only second to
Man hope this new LN becomes popular enough for an anime to be greenlit, more Shana would be amazing
And more Kugumiya as well.
Final Fantasy 14 LN illustrations
>more Shana would be amazing
All the stuff that focused on Shana was already animated though. If they're doing anything else involving the Shana series, it'd be the prequel arcs and sidestories (many of which were arguably more interesting than the central conflict) which the anime essentially skipped over just to focus on the Shana parts.
>yashichiro Takahashi’s (高橋 弥七郎) light novel series Shakugan no Shana (灼眼のシャナ) is making an expected comeback after 4 years of absence. According to a leaked promotional picture surfaced online, the new work is going to be a novel.(All works on ©QooApp are original. Please cite www.qoo-app.com as the source when reposting. ) #9027
Flame Hazes were never really the good guys. They were a loosely connected group of vigilantes, most of which just wanted to kill denizens out of personal grudges, not any real concerns for justice or safety of humanity.
No wishy-washy bullshit, no denseness on his part, had actual character growth and became a competent fighter in the end and had a happy ending with the cutest and best girl.
When did everything go wrong /a/? I wanted the LNs to follow Shana and FMP example. Insted everything went the IS and SAO way.
And now everything is shit.
Man i loved shana, but i don't think i can remember all that terminology without rereading.
>that perfect phase in S1 where Shana is dere for Yuji because she's too innocent about romance to be tsundere
>that following drama shitfest that lasts the rest of S1
This has kept me from starting S2. Please tell me Shana becomes cute again.
For a secondary the jump from S2 to S3 made no sense to me plotwise
Suddenly Yuuji is the badguy and like 20 side characters appear out of no where and start doing things i have no idea about
S2 has some bad anime original arc for a few episodes that people somehow never forgot, it¿s basically just Shana and not!Hecate trying to one up each other to get Yuuji. Other than that S2 is pretty good and has some plot twists that are great.
S3 is balls to the walls nonstop action after something like ep4 where Yuuji becomes the best MC ever. Watch it right now if possible.
Read this after ep4 so you can understand things, since the anime skipped a lot of details. https://pastebin.com/ZRnkUKYX
Seriously Yuuji went from being this guy who you can't help but worry that he might vanish. Into a guy who wielded a sword that he could use to help a but then into the final fucking boss
that is quite a leap
and the best part is that he won.
S2 gets way worse on the drama shitfest to be honest, shana is still a cute though.
