I made a post about backlogs a few days ago and came to the conclusion of trying to finish an entire 11-13 episode anime at least once a day. I will start with anime I've started and am around 25-50% minimum in terms of completion. Is this realistically feasible?
Don't make your hobby into a job to the point it is prioritized over productive activities.

I already watch porn for more than 12 hours a day so cutting that out completely should optimize my time.

that seems inefficient unless it is literally your job to do so. That reply is for both (?) of you.

Then what do you suggest?

Watch anime because you enjoy it. If you would rather watch porn, then watch porn. Don't let the size of your backlog be the force driving you to watch anime, that's stupid.

Kill yourself.

I really like anime, but the amount of content that I want to consume is overwhelming me therefore overwhelming myself. Before Kill la Kill I had no idea new anime came out by the season. Ever since then it's been hard to finish an anime since more shit would come out, hell I am half way through Kill la Kill and only put it on hold because new shit.

maybe deal with your crippling porn addiction first. that might give you enough attention span to make it through a series.
also, you're clearly a newfag. you should lurk more before posting here. Maybe try that article from ANN where you got your image from?

I read the article several times when it came out and I reread it last week. I've been lurking for 3 years.

How old are you anyway? It's amazing to see youth get stressed out over backlogs of anime or video games when there is no reason to do so. I have about 400 titles and I will get to them when I get to them, if at all. Work, family, friends, relaxation and other hobbies take precedence over completing anime just for the sake of completing it. If one ever gets to that point it's time to take a damn break from anime and find something else to do. Why push yourself? You push yourself to meet a deadline at work or complete a goal like learning a language or exercising. You don't push yourself to complete an anime per day.

I am 20 and my backlog spans around 300 for anime and 250 for manga. And you do have a point there.

>around 150 titles of anime in my backlog
>2500 hentai manga+doujins
>god knows how many manga
>any backlog from other media
I just stopped giving a shit about backlog. I've come to the realization that backlog isn't meant to be cleared.

You never clear backlogs.
