DD is pretty interesting and fairly well written but the edge tier themes and characters kinda make it hard to stomach a lot of without getting repulsed.

On the other hand RTW is some of the comfiest shit i've read that maintains a fairly consistent level of quality. Most other comfy novels tend to turn into repetitive nonsense with an overpowered character. Reading on as Roland struggles to build up a small city into something that can both destroy the church and repel the devils while also getting side character chapters is fun as shit. More people should be reading RTW.
