Was it actually good, /a/?
Cute couple.
>>160621054
Yes, it's basically Star Trek with lesbian pirates.
>>160621054
I can't remember, I fell asleep.
>>160621054
Chiaki is one of the best megane's
>>160621054
Marika is one of the best pirate's
>>160621054
Kinda flounders from boring to intriguing and then being kinda exciting.
Movie was ass though.
Cute girls doing competent things. Yes.
Animate more of the LNs, please.

good show, comfy SOL for sci fi nerds
>>160621553
good taste
>>160623771
Don't remember there being a whole lot of sci in that sci-fi.
>>160621054
Should have focused more on the pirate crew.
>>160623900
especially earlier on they did more world building and science explaining than a lot of other shows
>pg13
>light novel
>was it actually good
>>160621054
It was bland and unambitious
The ED was really good. The op wasn't bad either. Other than that I can't remember.
SET PHASERS TO TSUN!
>>160621054
Only the parts with actual piracy
How was the movie? And when wil there be a sequel to Rinne no Lagrange?
>>160621054
I loved the OP and ED
Its inoffensive. Sort of boring, but I didn't mind watching it. I heard the movie was bad though
>>160625515
Of course they were good, it was momokuro.
This show was underrated and I still think Chiaki was Hanazawa's best role.

Comfy space adventure anime with great VA casting.
Too bad it's yurishit, but the helmsman was great.
>>160631723
>too bad
>>160621876
Lesbian insurance fraudsters**
>>160625515
Music wise or screenplay wise?
I enjoyed the hell out of it. Pretty underrated series all told.
Watched it for the Marty Friedman guitar solo and turkey hat.
>>160633201
Same shit, they're gay and they fly around in a space ship saving lesbian rich girls from forced marriages to disgusting men. That's the important part.
>>160621054
OK, but forgettable. The setting was cool, but they stayed too long with the school class hijinks, when they baited you with that galactic empire stuff.
>>160636989
You are in the club and this girl slaps your dinghi's ass. What to do.
MC couldn't escape being Mary Stu of Mary Stus. The lesbianism was overblown and mostly read in by the yuri fans.
I really enjoyed the sci-fi but then it focused too much attention on those background characters who all happen to have ungodly skills in their area of expertise.
If only we could hack this government server... oh wait luckily we have a master-class hacker aboard.
It was also a huge letdown they redefined what "pirates" are.
>>160621054
Started off strong but took a nosedive in the second half. Marika really carried the show.
>>160621054
It was the highlight of my Saturday mornings.
>>160641265
how do I read this?
>>160640663

My absolute lads
>>160641370
>>160621054
No, not enough Chiaki.
What a coincidence I was just thinking of picking this up and there's a thread. Sounds like a dull yuri show overall but I'm watching Akuma no Riddle right now so I'm used to that.
>>160641936
Riddle tries to pretend like its exciting at first
Bodacious Space Pirates' vibe is pretty consistent overall
>>160641936
>I'm watching Akuma no Riddle
>lesbian assassins
>no one dies
>>160621054
it's outstanding. worth multiple re-watches (i regularly re-watch it once or twice a year since it aired)
I wish we got a second season instead of a movie.
Characters were all loveable, and Captain Marika is probably one of the most competent female MC ever
also, it got pretty good vehicles and backgrounds, that's Satelight for you.
>>160621054
of course
>>160627529
RnL was definitively ended so no.
its sole contribution to humanity was getting Megadeth in an anime opening
>>160640663
>mispelling mary sue
>using mary sue unironically
kys
also
>lesbianism was overblown
>>>160641370
>pic related
>>160621054
The OP tells you everything you need to know. It's a confused, insane multi-train pile up of hard sci-fi, soft sci-fi, very soft sci-fi, action, adventure, and /u/ romance. It's great.
>>160636989
>Marty Friedman guitar solo
Is there a clip of this on YT or something?
