VOTOMS on /a/

After watching Roots of Ambition and Pailsen Files, it was weird seeing Pailsen being killed so unceremoniously during The Last Red Shoulder.
It's funny how even with his obsession about Chirico he never truly found the truth about him.
Also, it's weird seeing those prequels making such a big emphasis on the "abnormal survivor" thing that wasn't even a thing in the TV series.

I didn't feel as bad for them as I felt for the abnormal survivors.
They never were friends and they were barely comrades, but it was amazing seeing them survive all of that horseshit

Vietnam arc was the best arc.
Chirico becoming the enemy of the entire galaxy during the last arc so he could trick Wiseman was amazing too.

I really dislike the prequels and sequels. They just ruin the series by piling more and more shit onto Chirico.
In the TV-series you could believe he was just a lucky guy who won by exploiting various tricks but in the OVAs he can stop a gun pointed at him from triggering.
