I planned my entire life to start a career as a writer, I let a few years pass since I was aware that my mind was still immature and I didn't want to write Eragon-tier shit. Yes, I've watched over 1000 anime series, easily, and probably triple the amount in manga. I regret most of it and wish I at least learned a bit more japanese from it.

I did pick up the hobby/obsession of encoding, which has been a lot of fun, as well as typesetting. Don't watch too much now, hell this season I'm only watching Fate.

I have to say, I do miss the high quality fansubbed typesetting you used to get in releases (minus the karaoke). As well as the fansub drama. Now the drama when it does happen is a lot more serious like entire trackers going private or shutting down rather than the old fansubbers=stupid fuckery. Maybe it's better now though, with the constant supply of fast subs for pretty much every show the discussion can stay on the shows and not the other bullshit.
