When did Imaishi peak?

Never did

His animation style is overrated.
It's fast and flashy but doesn't convey motion in a good way.
People only praise it cause it's somewhat unique.

I like Imaishi best when he's working under someone else. I think his style is great, and has incredible weight to it, but as a Director I don't think he can pull a whole show together satisfactorily.
