Just watched the anime and i was blown away, why the fuck are there only 5 volumes translated? To my understanding the anime follows up to vol16. Why hasn't anyone picked it up?

I'm guessing it's no use picking up a title left unfinished by a dead author.

I read the books long ago. Fucking dropped the series when Guin was revealed to be some king, the thief became a prince, and the useless slut also became a queen or some shit.

She left the manuscript for someone else to finish, there's 132 or 134 volumes now, im not sure if its finished or not

In Japanese? Its implied early on that he'll be some form of a king in his dream/vision right when they visit Nospherus

Join the suffering. All the TL fags would rather translate another terrible fantasy Isekai than TL one of the best fantasy epics around.
I started learning nip solely so I can read Guin Saga and Crest/Banner of the Stars since they're never going to get translated for some fucking reason. If you want to ever read it you'll have to do the same. Maybe once I'm fluent I can try my hand at translation so others don't need to feel this pain.

>have to learn nip
I bet they'll translate it till i actually learn it

Also there was a TL project about a year and a half ago but it disappeared off the face of the planet and their blog was made private and available by invite only. There may be more translations beyond volume 5, but I've spent hours looking over the last few years so if there are, they're more hidden than fucking CP.

I applied, they'll give me an invite, right?
>>160588582
I emailed to see if they were even still doing it and never got a response, so good luck. Not being sarcastic, I legitimately hope you get some TLs. If you do, make a torrent/DL link for us plebs?

Sure, i'll make a thread or contact ghosts11 on rizon but i'm not too optimistic about it either. Another anon from a different thread said the TLs are up to vol7
