I agree with your reasoning, although I enjoyed Part 2's manga a lot. It somehow made everything better for me, maybe because it was my second time experiencing coming from the anime beforehand. It's weird how much Joseph has stuck with people because of the adaptation though, even more so considering we're 4/8 Parts in.

Well, the Part 3 anime kind of screwed up Jotaro's character a bit by making him scowl all the time when he smiled frequently in the manga, so I'd guess that a lot of people just saw him as an autistic asshole instead of half-Japanese Clint Eastwood. I got nothing for why people didn't warm up to him or Josuke once Part 4 got adapted though.

I think that's sort of an issue with Part 3's later style really. He smiled quite a lot pretty much in every arc before Strength. I can assure you though, coming from the hell that is the Latino side of the JoJo fandom, anime-onlies did warm up to Jotaro and absolutely love Josuke.

I still hold that Narancia should have cacked it at the start of GDO.
The odd thing to me though when people say about replacing Fugo's arc is what someone does with Secco.
To me at least, he was meant to exist in Araki's original plan. Since he didn't get redesigned like Cio did and kept a consistent name. He always wasn't dropped completely like Cio was. There's also the point that his back story is cellotaped onto Cio with a line and had the thing when he breaks the mumbles.

Does that mean Fugo would have fought with him? Perhaps Oasis being a suit stand could protect him from PH? Would he have known Secco? I can't see such a big arc like that being split into two with Bruno doing one thing at the same time as Giorno.

We've had some nice recent talks about handling the traitor arc without it being stupidly edgy. I am curious though where Secco fits in, if at all.
Oasis makes sense with PH at least to me.

If I may fanfiction. I were allowed to keep Cioccolata, then I would like Secco to turn on him to go with Fugo. He knew Cioccolata wanted to go against the Boss and it would have struck a fear in Fugo to keep going through with the plan. Of course Cio would be a Carne tier throwaway.

Maybe Oasis could actually carry Purple Haze's virus capsules and use them himself in some sort of way? Although if the fight were to be Green Days and Oasis and Purple Haze it'd be interesting the roles each of them would have. I think Fugo would be sent straight for the turtle and maybe have a moment with Trish because of it.

Nah I wouldn't let Green Day exist at all. The fights works for it is but it doesn't need to exist along size PH at all.
You even have the same opening with the helicopter so the Pistols tells Cioccolata (and therefore Secco/Fugo ) but then have him die off as a sort of bait and switch before the Fugo reveal. Nobody will see whose on the other side of the phones.

The infinite spins has special properties that transcends time/space/etc (Like vs Diego) which Johnny made it so the bullet would hit himself, so no one else could feel the loss that he felt when Rina got affected.

I'm currently working on a large wall of text trying to explain all the unresolved plot points of JoJolion with references and chapter/page numbers.
This explanation will be half-assed.

Rock Humans can live for about 240 years.
The baby that washed up on the shore is roughly on the same date that the article of Johnny's death (November 10-13th 1901).
This was probably the first appearance of a 'Rock Human' inside Morioh.
The Rokakaka was discovered by the Australians in 1938, only about 40 years later.
The second that World War II started, the Rokakaka suddenly disappeared.
'They' may have wanted the corpse too.
'They' may have attacked Johnny as soon as they got word of his arrival and as soon as they killed him, they swapped the cases and took off.
The US took back a fake corpse.

Johnny's son was holding onto the case with the corpse when Johnny died, but when Rina arrived, he was seen asleep? and without the case in his hands.
The horse that Johnny took also ran off.

Side Note: There is a tiny baby doll with a wool cap of some sort just like the washed up baby inside the Higashikata bunker on Chapter 24 Page 10 (2 Chapters after the legend).

A lot of the tracks he composed went unused and the ones that were used just had the same excerpt used over and over. He got mad they weren't using the stuff they paid him to make and left the company. The guy who composed the music for 3 and 4 is a different guy. DP's sound director still hasn't learned his lesson though, since there are numerous unused tracks in the SC and DiU OSTs as well. Despite some clearly being made for certain moments or fights, they just keep using the generic fight and beat down themes for everything and only using the opening of each song rather than the rest of it. Whoever the sound director is at DP is really ducking bad at their job.

Draw better, or, more consistently. The Part has some marvelous art, sure (still not SBR levels though), but Yasuho has looked ugly in a lot of it (six chapters in).

In one of the chapters before FF's death in one panel we see a memory of hers when all of them are together fucking around but we never got to actually see any of that since the focus was always the plot moving ahead. It's a shame because when I first read Heavy Weather and Hermes is crying it felt weird because we'd never seen them interact before.
