I can't see this being any kind of fighting dungeon crawl, because the only fighting user is Reg.
The game should docus on telling a story, and I feel that it could fit in that genre.

Ooh, I'm imagining what the multiplayer would be like - 6 or so players, trying to fight and survive their way through one layer to get to the next base camp. It would be interesting.
