Why did initial d dropped off so bad.

4th stage was alright but lost some of the charm of the first two seasons. Then 5th stage came out with its shitty PPV only, no eurobeat, ugly artstyle. Life wtf happen.

Final stage didn't even have Takumi race anyone in his dad's sti, no Takumi vs his dad rematch, hell not even a Takumi vs Keisuke but a fucking a younger clone of him as his final match.

The series eluded that Takumi will drive the Toyota/Suburu 86 but all these new cars just destroys whatever plot they had.
