I wound up enjoying ZZ Gundam more than Zeta. Yeah, the beginning of ZZ Gundam was god awful, but once I got past the first dozen episodes, I wasn't struggling to continue the series like I was with Zeta.

Now, Victory Gundam, that one was so bad it broke my attempt at watching every Gundam series in broadcast order.

Gundam should've ended after the original.

zeta has the generic bad guys you are not supposed to like in where every single pilot is some sort of a cunt, while 79 enemy pilots were a lot more human, some being scared some being admirable, and yes some of the enemies were cunts.

amuro is also the best gundam mc, if not because of the reason that he becomes extremely wroth and cold hearted over the coarse of the show.
