Are there any well-known mangaka or Japanese illustrators that have their work exhibited in galleries?
There's this super degenerate sculptor who makes like retarded figures with cum shooting around itself like a rope and they go for millions USD. I'm pretty sure its yakuza laundering tho or some rich autistic neet saudi prince weeaboo buying them
Oh fuck, I was wrong, more like $5,500.
You just need to look at the right gallery to find them.
Mamoru Nagano has had multiple art exhibits and even drew noseart for a whole squadron of JSDF jet planes.
I'd like to see anyone else do better than that.
Here's the documentary, i was fully erect the whole time.
I love the man's art. I just wish he cared enough to finish Vagabond.
Ah! Pretty shining love! Yay! Unbelievable!
Kannagi ended recently.
Yotsuba had a gallery a few years back. Too bad Azuma is a faggot
And here's the artist, MR (Masakatsu Iwamoto):
Reminds me of how I was such a "cultured" weeb in the past I decided to visit a print shop to print a huge poster of Horo to hang next to my bedside wall. Went to Ikea for the wooden frame too.
Was finally scolded by my dad and told to take it down.
I've been thinking about doing that with this picture of Luna Child. She's my favorite of the three fairies and this picture is a masterpiece made by a genius.
So I decided to hunt for my poster. The edges are aged brown, the sides are coated with dust.
But it remains,
>guys it's alright, it's not a half naked girl it's just a half naked boy
I remember seeing a story on here (forget which board) about a guy who tried to get that made into a poster in New Zealand or whatever but the shop owner denied him service and threatened to call the cops.
Shotaro Ishinomori also has one.
>Are there any well-known mangaka or Japanese illustrators that have their work exhibited in galleries?
Pretty much all of them. This isn't a rare scenario, many mangaka and illustrators will get gallery space for an exhibit at one point or another. It's used for promotion and for celebrating older mangaka. Here's Izumi Yukio, a relatively obscure mangaka from the 50s, at one in 2012.
This is the best anime room i have ever seen.
It confirmed C.C. has green pubes, as far as I'm concerned it's priceless.
Nigga you are dumb, he has only made a couple of those. He primarily works in 2d, super neon/bright chaotic patterns.
If you google him, those sculptures don't even come up. He is just famous for them because XDDD CUM from retards like you.
where do you live where theyre that cheap? they go for at least 1200 in the parts of town you dont go to. Although I know of a run down city in a run down country where 800$ will get you a week with one that cooks and cleans for you to.
>defending some pomo jap charlatan trying to be pollock
>getting this mad over some sihtty pop art
Didn't he also have a statue of a girl growing multiple dicks out of everywhere, and a statue of a man with a semen I don't know how to describe it?
It's fucking great how he accidentally trolled the western art scene.
I-Is that Focke Wulf? He draws pictures of 10 year old girls being fucked in the ass by monsters.
On a loli note, I believe Murata Renji has had exhibits.
It's Oyari Ashito. You should really check some of his old art and VNs, but sadly his newer artwork - most of it [email protected] - has lost its soul. His old stuff might not be technically masterful and does have quite a lot of hungry skeleton lolis which might be distasteful to some, but at least it had character.
Murata's had plenty of exhibitions, I went to the one in the aforementioned GoFA in '09 I believe. (I don't have any photos though).
Oh, I found a good chart to illustrate his art's progression. Look at how wonderful his nougties were despite the flaws (inb4 whining about the faces). Then bam, he draws Iori in 2010, and the last three pics looks like plastic mass produced crap.
Well still remember this game.
The blonde want to fuck MC's dad.
The ching was used as a sex doll by her grandfather.
The brown hair got inferior complex due to having a genius twin or some shit, Inever finished her route.
You can buy an official British Museum manga in the gift shop.
You quite literally have no idea how /b/ was when it was Anime and Random, no idea at all. You just come here pretending you are some cultured fuck.
Please, do the world a favour and go live your life under a rock until you die.
Imagine being the ATF guy that has to jump through anon's window and see this
>exhibited in galleries?
You should define "gallery" and "art gallery" and be careful how you use words. I know that many artists have had their works in galleries (generic sense) for public display. But to me, the way YOU used gallery implied to me it was a formal museum art gallery which is where Picasso, Rembrandt, and DaVinci are shown. I differentiate commercial art galleries from museum art galleries. So offhand I would say "NO" to your question if you didn't qualify it.
It's nice to see /a/ discuss artwork properly.
No one can blame you, Anmi is great.
I just realized I've used this one back to back, which means I've had their art as a wallpaper for over 2 years.
Oh shit I knew I recognised that art from somewhere
Better yet, try to find the manga.
I only have the second volume but it's really nice to look through.
>watch my favorite anime
There are also those artists that make art of melted anime figures.
Yeah, an adaptation. Only the first two volumes are out, which covers the first half (ending with garden-club Minato), who knows if it will ever finish.
