Not him and I have no source but considering that the merchandise output is considerably larger, there's plenty of home video releases, you have sucessful ongoing games like heroes and lots of other games released through the years to the point I've seen DB being called and treated as a video game franchise and you have old fans along with newer fans and kids its not that weird if they're actually making more money than in the Z days.
