Friendly reminder that JoJolion is going to be at least 100 chapters. How much more over 100 do you expect it to run for though? I can see it being roughly 120 chapters when it's finished honestly.

Anyone finds Jotaro's caracterization of wanting people to say one-liners for him a great thing that he should have done more often? We only see him doing that against Dark Blue Moon with Avdol and Atom Heart Father with Josuke.

To be fair it does sometimes create some discussion. The Giorno one sparked a nice talk about his character and tastes but also ended up into the Fugo betrayal arc. God I want all the Fugo/Giorno stuff to be true.

My speculation is that Jobin might think of a higher goal than just cash or healing his kid and then continuing with his life as usual. If he isn't, then he is a wasted character. What that higher goal is it's hard to tell - immortality, turning people into a kind of zombies addicted to rokakaka, world domination through mighty beetle army, it can be anything at this point.

Wrong. Every villain with the exception of Hol Horse is a one-off non character with almost zero personality and they all share the same motivation of killing for DIO-sama. The setting consists of boring brown deserts and middle eastern shitholes. It's needlessly long and bloated and the Crusaders have almost zero chemistry as a group. Joseph is mischaracterized as an old retard and not a sly trickster. Kakyoin and Avdol are shafted for PooPoo jokes with Polnareff. Jotaro has all the personality of a rock and the character development equal to say, Dire from PB. Dio is treated as the final boss from vidyashit rather than a compelling villain.You can skip from episode 4 to episode 45 and you miss almost nothing, save for the most mediocre stand battles in all of Jojo. I recommend skipping most of it or skipping it altogether if you want to have any shred of respect left for this series.

Unlike Dio, Diavolo is ever present in giving the gang directions, appears halway through the part, and kills someone in each appearance, making for a threatening villain and not some far off final boss, and his double personality makes for some great moments. Many of the stand users have backgrounds, personalities, and motivations. They are also not all boss dicksuckers or all traitors. There is more variety than, "DIO promised me a lot of money so I gotta kill you lel". The gang has chemistry and feels natural in there interactions, and each member has a defined personality. Italy is a more interesting location for an adventure and they actually go to recognizable landmarks rather than shitty shanty towns. The stands are more intresting. Sticky Fingers, Moody Blues, Aerosmith, Sex Pistols, and Purple Haze all mame more interesting fights than punching stand, shooting stand, sword stand, fire stand, and sand stand. Even Gold Experience at least has an ability before his asspull. The fights environments also affect the outcome, such as Grateful Dead and BIG. The gang members all have different reasons to why they joined the gang, and why they betrayed it. In part 3, Polnareff, Kakyoin, and Avdol all share the same backstory. Part 3 was a rough introduction to stands, Part 4 was him nailing the formula, and Part 5 is where Araki finally gave us a true bizzarre ADVENTURE worthy of the series' name.
