How important is anime to you?

I'd die without it, so not very important.

It only adds dimensions for aesthetics and an audio, which is nice but manga can live without it.

I could probably live without.

Incredibly.
Without it I'd probably explode in productivity for a few months, maybe write a novel, then crash into a hopeless spiral of depression and eventually off myself.
Anime makes me feel happy and fulfilled when I have no business feeling those things.

Now im more autistic than ever, openly go on about muh wifu, wear anime patches and guess what people like me bc Im swole and know how to pull it off

It probably has a negative impact on my psyche that I'm afraid to admit but I can't live without anime.

Not very. I probably would bathe daily if it wasn't for /a/ content. I could live without anime but no manga (or just print in general) would make me very bored. Still probably would be better off without it, or maybe I'd be on drugs. I don't know.

Anime specifically isn't, but it's just one of the legs (including manga, VNs, light novels, and /a/ shitposting) of Japanese entertainment that's caused me to move away from burger TV.

Even if you offered DirecTV/Netflix/Amazon to me free, forever, I wouldn't even use it. I'd be more likely to sell the subscription and buy nip merchandise.

Fun fact: I voted Trump so he would kill the TPP, and he did. I won't go to jail for pirating chinese cartoons in the US even while you get 10 years everywhere else on earth.

It usually depends on the mood. Sometimes I'll just play vidya for a few months and not watch anime or read any manga. And then I'll do a 180 by just watching anime/reading manga while not playing any vidya.
