Pacing is much snappier and everything is cuter. The narrator is the only thing I miss about the old version.

I don't know why people are complaining about pacing. When it comes to parody anime, going faster only makes them better.

I've watched the old series twice and I'm satisfied enough with this. I'd like it better if it's slower paced but this certainly isn't bad at all.
