Because I have a sub 200kb internet connection and my monitor resolution is only 900p so even if I download 1080p its going to look almost exactly the same as 720p.
Its more like comparing expensive high quality food to getting $5 hot dog from a reputable street vendor that pretty much tastes the same to me anyway.
