I brought it up in the other Bleach thread and I'm going to bring it to this one. It's about that SOB Tokinada.

Why did Soi Fon immediately try to use her Bankai in the final arc when she's previously been shown averse to using it except as a last resort and while needing Omaeda to distract the enemy long enough to set it up?
Why was Ikkaku's Bankai seemingly so weak to the point that he practically destroyed it fighting a Fraccion while his vice captain/captain companions effortlessly beat their opponents with Shikai after their limiters were removed?

Bleach is pretty deep when it comes to this stuff. The anime and manga never really explained it but i'm sure it was always intended that people who put more thought into it would understand. It's one thing Bleach did really well Dragon ball is the only one left that really can pull it off.

It stopped being that long time ago but really I don't think it ever was.
Sometimes there was so much blood and body parts flying you couldn't see what was going on.

Sometimes you've got to wonder if this is the real reason Kubo had problems with Shueisha & Jump. If they told him to hold the gore and violence and he told them to go fuck themselves.
I remember when Dragon balls fights had blood in them and then just stopped and the fight scenes became as tame as they could be and the only time you ever see blood if it's from a alien or robot and different color.

He had it alright, Kensei was seen demanding he use it against Visored Mashiro in the training chapter before the second invasion. Incidentally, 10 years is how long it takes to master a bankai after it has been first unlocked, meaning Rukia and Renji's should be fully mastered, and possibly Ikkaku's. We can also infer that Isane and Tetsuzaemon had bankai during the war, but didn't want to break it like Ikkaku and Renji's dumbasses. I say we can infer that because I personally infer that mastering bankai, and not just possessing it, are prerequisites to become a captain.

People have been trowing this theory since after the ending was released, but there is nothing in the manga that show this.

Antithesis does NOT make Uryuu immune to the Almighty, all Antithesis can do is to change something that already happened, it has no power over the future, its not that different from the Book of the end.

To kill Yhwach with the antithesis Uryuu would need to store a lot of damage before making the switch, the problem is that even without Almighty, Yhwach is still the superior fighter who could easily curbstomp and behead Ishida in a single strike.

I just wanted to see Ichigo, Renji, Uryu and Aizen man-handle yhwach with tag-team attacks and nostalgic scenes.

I know this is probably wrong but I'll blame the bad ending on it being rushed, I'll stay hopeful that they planned something a little cooler to end the series off with, so if it by miracle gets revived the new adaption changes the ending to be a bit more climactic.

All the relationships between Ichigo, the hollows, and the soul society would have been a lot more interesting had Ichigo gone to Hueco Mundo before the rescue ice hime arc.
