If not, then it's not like JoJo. Disclaimer: I hate JoJo, but it's been spammed enough here that even haters know a few things about it.

I'm really not seeing a point of comparison besides vampires. Fun series though, not sure if the volumes after three were ever scanned.

Well the plot is similar to the first two volumes of Jojo, starts out with two best friends. One of them wants to be a vampire and turns edgy kind of like DIO while the other friend turns into a Vampire Hunter to hunt him down.

It was really entertaining, it's not exactly like Jojo but it has bits of it sprinkled into it.

Yeah, like I said it's not exactly like Jojo, I mean the vampires and how that one kid ends up kind of acting like DIO when he became a vampire. Also my local bookstore actually had the entire series I think in English, or at least half the series. I remember reading it a long time ago.

I read the books but I dont remember them being illustrated. It really hooked me though
