I think the other guy's point is that even the poll that is put on TM's site itself isn't really a huge poll and had similiar results.

She is the trigger of the plot and the main heroine of the introductory route where Rin is also very important, then she is sidelined by Rin in UBW even though it was Shirou's route and in HF Saber became a secondary villain and her screentime got significantly reduced while Rin is as much as important as in she was in UBW, she also had the whole subplot with Sakura and her moment in the final battle with the jewel sword. Besides, Rin is actually a narrator in both, the prologue and epilogue of HF True, and Shirou would be basically dead without her. Also the protagonist of Grand Order is modeled after Shirou and Rin, the main characters.
