this is just a dreamy sol episode the fuck
this is supposed to be her witch version
you thought the gore from last episode was bad
>Hopefully MC stays as based
Yeah, about that ...
Man this episode was completely different from the first 2, more like a romcom episode
What the fuck man.
I dont think she died, her getting her first love and doing high school dating stuff cured her.Damn, mc getting all kind of feels at the end.
> mc is sleeping beauty
Yeah, I feel the same though he must have been staying too long or just the dream world will since he kinda has the power to be the witches equal he so far encountered.
He was being based in this one too, taking her around and doing couple stuff.Mc crying at the end there with the letter was pretty good, I like how they do his crying face.
I dont think nips let a corpse lay there chilling, at least they will cover the face. My guess is she was stabilized and they are waiting for her to naturally wake up. Too bad I dont know moon, the series twitter account or fans might have something about it.
She died. Both lily and the professor say she didn' t have much time. Even she realized it herself when she overheard Haruto and the professor.
What Haruto was doing was grant her last wish so she could die in peace. Or you know, that stuff of solving a ghost's regrets so they can stop being attached to the mortal world and can go to heaven/their next life/whatever.
This episode was surprisingly high budget compared to the last two. Definitely not what I expected after the edgy episode we got last week, but it seems like GONZO gives much more of a shit about this show than I initially thought. Hopefully it stays at this level of quality for the next couple of eps.
Art style changes I'd be more than happy to see, it's more the execution I'm worried about. I liked what I see in episode 1 and 2 stylistically, but let's face it, it had the same level of fluidity from what you'd expect to see on Newgrounds. Fingers crossed they get their shit together, this could shape up to be the sleeper hit of the season.
I dunno. I would think since dreams are a result of the mind, if she were to die the dream would disappear, right? Thus the letter would have disappeared, but there he is reading it at the ocean.
Then again, that's assuming this whole thing follows any kind of logic anyways.
She's dead, you don't just take away the life support if they are still unconscious.
>I dont think nips let a corpse lay there chilling, at least they will cover the face.
People don't actually do that in real life, especially not when the deceased carries a peaceful expression.
Her dream shattered, though. After she started to die her dream became just a black space until she disappeared. When we get to see Haruto again, we are probably just seeing a dream he created basing it on Kayo's one.
She was stabilized and breathing herself probably, the previous girls including the cat guy imouto with the sleeping beauty disease were shown without any life support. She gonna wake up soon.
>not in real life
Really? fucking dorama and chinese cartoon lied to me.
This is Beelzebub, the demon lord of Gluttony
What? ConRevo had pretty good animation in general.
Yeah, it was the first impression I got actually seeing the edginess of the previous episode.Still, I was wrong and actually felt good to see why, too bad about that too after the ambiguity that I get from the ending.
I have the theory that MC might not even exist in RL and is just some crazy split personality of Catguy, whose sister actually has the sleeping beauty sickness and is most likely Lily who just happens to call MC "brother". I mean the weird thing is that so far only witches seemed to be capable of walking around in the dream world and communicate with people there. The only exception would be Catguy, but it would make sense if some part of him (MC) was actually trapped in the dream world, just like the witches. That would also explain why he was able to talk with MC while he was awake in episode 2. Shit would make no fucking sense otherwise and it doesn't seem like he can do the same thing with the witches. MC is the only one.
Nah he was acting on key. His role there was to pretty much (on the urging of lily) to take care of this girl for a bit. He valued the girls whose dreams he was in consistently through each of the three episodes.
If you remember the first episode he didn't really care much about it at all, but in the second he cared more, and in the third he really did start to empathise with the girl whose dream he was in.
He's developing greater empathy.
Its on the playstore with the name, 18: dream world.
I still have no idea what direction they're going to take this or if it's going to be episodic dreams each episode for the entire series but this episode was a lot better than the first two. Best witch and best girl, pure love like that is too good for this world.
>mc makes a harem through the dream world
Why is this so enjoyable.
Christ my heart
I really love exploration anime. Be it 18if with the different dream worlds, Space Dandy with planets or Made in Abyss with that fantastical eldritch hell, it's so much more interesting than series that just copy and paste their school setting or premade fantasy RPG instead of creating something new and let the protags travel to different lands or worlds.
Is it Lain of our generation?
I didn't see it coming but it was what I was hoping for since I disagreed with tue cat guy from the start.
Those scum deserved to be killed and it was retarded to try saving them.
I agree, it was a good and refreshingly original thing to happen. And it wasn't out of nowhere either, earlier in the episode MC was showing signs that he didn't completely agree with what he was getting caught up in. But I at least expected it to be the whole "reluctant hero" thing instead of his reluctance presaging his refusal to participate.
In the end though it will probably come around to him helping anyways. I hope that the MC shows that he is only willing to be a do-gooder on his own terms rather.
Nice one anon. This show has really surprised me these past two weeks now. With this episode I feel like I could actually recommend this in good conscience.
With a new director every episode it's pretty unpredictable at this point. It does well for the 'witch of the week' format, I guess we can only hope they don't pull a Flip Flappers with what seems will be the overarching plot with Haruto and Lily.
I saw him being on the witch side when he asked this, I didn't think he would actually kill the guy himself though.
Visual direction was top notch. I hope this is the true face of this anime, not whatever they were trying to do the first eps.
it's interesting and has the potential to be a surprise success, but it's very rough around the edges.
(also, it's definitely not horror, though episode 2 has some real gore. at most it's dark fantasy)
Is this the A E S T H E T I C anime of the season?
>Clair de Lune starts playing
But the only reason I knew about it was because of Evil within, which made me expect the worst
What >>160107854 said.
Regarding horror or "dark stuff" I like that Vatican thriller but the sad thing is that they're kinda killing this series with some abnormal high speed pacing and I don't know why they even do this.
It's funny you say that because I definitely get those types of vibes. This show is strange in that each episode has been a different genre/tone. I really like it so far.
That would be
>cute girl appears
>voiced by KanaHana(?)
>kill her off in the same episode
A couple weeks ago, I would have never believed that this would end up one of my favorites of the season.
What the fuck did just happen?
How was this episode so good? How was the animation so beautiful? How was the story so simply nice, to the point, non-pretentious? The previous two episodes were lackluster at best, or more like annoying as fuck due to all the lecturing, but this one was, just, maybe the best episode of the season.
>Clair de Lune starts playing
Yes, I knew I recognized Debussy in there. Glad I'm not a pleb.
Great and a totally unexpected episode. I thought this was going to be a cliche "she got hit by a car trying to save a cat is in a coma" type of thing. Instead, I got unexpected really sad and tugged at the heartstrings. This show has real potential to be the sleeper hit of the season; I am pleasantly surprised.
Even though I think they were right to deal with them, catguy is right that they should have stopped it because of people learning how to kill in dreams.
The craziest one that he killed even managed to turn it against her despite witches being in control were it not for him.

>作画監督 藤井俊郎 (plus 森悦史)
>原画 藤井俊郎 (among many others)
Jesus. I knew Gonzo was cheap, but they really run this poor guy dry. Though on the flip side, even though he had to apparently do everything himself, he did release a real work of art, so there's that.
Different director for each episode, like they did with the Mayoi Neko anime.
>that was clearly a japanese cold
Not that I'm qualified or anything but I'd guess it was something like pneumonia which progressed into something worse. At the very least something acquired and that mainly affects the lungs was made pretty apparent in the episode.
>Thinking about Aya Kitō all day and reading her diary
>Want to watch anime to cheer myself up
>Watch this as it's pretty good
>THIS SHIT HAPPENS
I hate it
Based Gonzo saving anime yet again.
I didn't expect this episode to be so kino. We even got an off-screen yukata event.
>he failed to protect this smile
Man, I rewatched the scene for this webm but didnt see the waterfall of tears. Fug.
One last bump.
