UBW cour 1 was pretty well into production so I assume cour 2 was good as well.
So nah, I assume it was Bamco being bad at anime production schedules and calling it in for Summer so that the supposed end of the anime coincides with release of GE: Resurrection without taking into account ufotable was still busy with UBW (and that ufotable has never done 2 cours in a row in anything).
Glad though that yeah they did their best to the point of delays and filling it in with production extras (that never got subs so explanation on shading never I suppose)

It was 10/10 for me so yeah it was more than worth it. It had great animation, OST, insert songs, and the final battle was amazing. For a game adaption it couldn't do any better.
