DMQ is a real fun play on Kira's character, the whole inventiveness of him going back to doing what he did in life feels totally in line with what Araki went onto going in Part 6.
Araki's comments on DMQ both in the Remix interview and end comments makes me think he sees it as a fitting conclusion to his character. He really was driven by his nature so of course he couldn't just sit still in a library or opera house.
Araki is one of the few artists I could truly believe who would cry over his own works.

I like that it was used in a more action oriented Part so it didn't end up as a crutch for mystery solving but I get what you mean. Paisley Park is similar and dangerously close to bullshit levels even with his improved writing ability. It basically gives Yasuho all the info she needs to get from A to B safely, all she has to do is actually git 'er done. Moody Blues is an awfully direct way of investigation so even though it'd logically make sense in a mystery oriented Part it'd invalidate a ton of intrigue and mystery since you could just figure who did what supremely easily. It might have worked in Part 4 though, like rewinding in Kira's house to see what he'd been up to before he disappeared, viewing the actions of suspects over the last couple hours etc. If you wanted Moody Blues in a mystery story and have it not be solved easily you'd need to construct the whole story around that ability at which point it's kind of redundant and you may as well just not include it. I'm hoping Paisley Park doesn't veer too far into bullshit territory, it has the opportunity to be Moody Blues done right and in a more fitting role.

I'd argue that Moody Blues is far less OP than Paisley Park, because while it can access virtually any piece of information, that's all it can do. Paisley Park appears to (among other things) potentially be able to predict the future and plan for the safest thing for Yasuho ahead of time, shown in how it gives her choices between stuff that'll help her.

If it came to Gappy finding out who he was or locating the fruit then Moody Blues would have a strong advantage as they could just say 'Turn into Kira/Me at this time', but it'd also mean they'd have to follow it around as it journeyed through the town and stuff, which would definitely attract suspicion from enemies.

These are still mentioned frequently and are the reason the Higashikata's land actually has the power it does, these will be explained eventually 100%

Potentially forgotten, but it could still come back. People seem to think it was related to awakening Stands, but Josuke already had his Stand back when he was Josefumi while both Daiya and Sasame said they got their Stands when they were young by playing on the ground where the Wall Eyes one day rose and didn't mention bite marks, so it's something else altogether that may or may not still be planned.

Both are valid, the magic ground/Wall Eyes still fuses things as it did in the beginning but the grafted Rokakaka that Josefumi grew there is different to regular Rokakaka in that it now does what the ground does rather than just switch one misfortune for another. Josuke was born because of the two together.

It was explained in an earlier chapter that Rock Humans steal identities. After killing Josefumi, just leaving his identity unused means that people he's connected to will notice he's missing and an investigation will be launched which threatens to uncover Damo's business. Damo took Josefumi's identity and continued to use it, mostly for money laundering purposes. He was in luck considering the only people who would raise questions over his disappearance were his university, so all Damo had to do was drop out and Josefumi is officially off the grid and he can do what he likes with the identity, his mother doesn't care that he's missing and won't report it so in the eyes of society and the law Josefumi is still accounted for and he was never reported as missing. This was to explain why no one was looking for Josuke at the beginning of the story.

Buccellati is pretty quiet and doesn't tend to involve himself in messing around and joking with the rest of the gang, but he displays plenty of personality. We see his kindness in the flashbacks - how he helped people like Narancia, his father, and eventually Trish, he actively talks to and banters with his enemies, and he has plenty of emotional outbursts when angered, upset or scared. He also has a really awkward side which tends to manifest the most around Trish, who he repeatedly alienates.

Most of what people say when talking about Giorno's subtle depth is much more applicable to Buccellati.

Yep, that was his end goal. Unfortunately, DIO corrupts everything he touches even when he genuinely loves something or someone, like he did with Pucci. Pucci was the only person he ever loved (not sexually) and considered an equal besides Jonathan, but his relationship with Jonathan was kind of strained and pretty one-sided so Pucci was like a whole new world to him. He genuinely wanted Pucci to succeed and fulfill his dreams which is why he entrusted the way to Heaven to him in case he died and couldn't achieve it with Pucci, Pucci could take it and use it however he saw fit. Despite all this DIO is still a corrupting influence and brought out the worst in Pucci, and instead of using the ability to Stand above fate and change it to bring humanity into a new and better world he decided to let it stay the same with no hope of changing it because he couldn't bring himself to face the reality that he was indeed partially responsible for his sister's death. As Weather said, he's the kind of evil who doesn't even recognise that it's evil.

Thankfully Emporio killed him before it was made permanent so everything reverts back to the old universe where the souls of Jolyne and co remain and the timeline is exactly the same minus Pucci ever existing.

It's a pretty fucking good ending but holy fuck does it hurt.
