Why did this hit me so hard? I hardly ever cry during anime but when Scarborough Fair played for the second time in the finale I bawled my eyes out.

Did anyone else like this show way more than it deserved?

I don't get how it happened but I was brought to tears when she walked out of that room and "Always in my heart" started playing. That song's piano/violin combo really resonates sorrow. Didn't even think it was that amazing of a show, but holy fuck the main couple's romance ended up being so fucking touching towards the end.
