K-On is a better anime than Beck even when it comes to portrayal of music. K-On has authentic hand drawn instruments, detailed character movement and realistic sound design. Not to mention the simple, aimless scenes of jamming on instruments like drumming on tables brings the show closer to the immediate experience of music than any other band anime. did. I figured my ability to hold on to my convictions while
accepting reality was a sign that I’d matured.
When I graduated from middle school, I also graduated from those
childish dreams and became used to the normalcy of the world.
