True it's too soon to really judge, but this is something I've noticed in almost all of the limited Jap media I've seen. They can't make villains with good motivations, they're either simply obsessed with power/winning or just fucking crazy. We get thirty seconds on Dio's rough childhood and how he hated his father, and then it's just cuckhold porn of him fucking with JoJo's life past the point of absurdity.
