If you're really cramped for space you can get away with tossing a few boxes for less fragile figures but those blisters are really, really good at what they do. You can separate the parts, wrap them in plastic to prevent paint transfer, then paper to support the most delicate parts then a well padded box on top of that but you'll want to evaluate which boxes you toss really carefully. I wouldn't trust most of my collection to survive without at least broken ahoges or accessories were I to pack them that way. Tossing boxes might be more viable if figures broke down into more pieces but many tend to be bad at that.

Scales are almost always horribly marked up and very rarely worth it. Figma and nendo are usually around $10 to $20 more expensive than normal places. So if you combine free shipping with coupons it's about the same or very slightly cheaper than anywhere else.
The real point of TOM is that everything that isn't super casual tier doesn't seem to sell well and will end up discounted at some point. Also the super popular things sell out later than at other places. I managed to PO the Shinon figma there when it was sold out everywhere else.

So my C-grade of this just came in (It was the blonde version with the tan lines.) Only problem I saw was paint transfer on the wrist from the bracelet which a magic eraser cleaned up nicely. Also didn't pick up any DNA markings with the black light.

I was to lazy to take a picture of it and the billiards lady I got with her for unboxing.
