It was good but it had a lot of problems

-Toguro was pretty 1 dimensional (really the only good antagonist in the series was Sensui)
-Barely any of the fights were memorable
-Hiei and Kurama were OP, most of their opponents were jobbers.
-Besides threats of violence from Toguro there wasn't really a reason to participate which makes it even more ridiculous when everyone actively gets in the way of them fighting the tournament
-new techniques keep being pulled out one after another
-They already have a tournament arc before this and after this, what's with Togashi and Tournament arcs?

I liked the theme that the arc touched upon and the interaction of the characters but I don't even think it's the best tournament arc (first budakai arc and heavens arena are arcs I would put above it for instance).
