What the FUCK was her Problem?

Crippling loneliness

She let her magic go to her head.

too pure for her own good
Her fight with Homura was the worst part of Rebellion
For a movie that was generally pretty aethestic it was really sloppy and poorly animated, felt like watching some random shitty anime instead of Madoka

Rebellion as a whole had this feeling

Agreed.

>too pure for her own good

She's just a cunt

I watched it stoned to tears and it could have actually been the least entertaining scene in the whole movie.
ALSO.
>Keki scene
>They trapped the nightmare
>poisoned her with their keki spell
>and fed it to their beast
>they actually were the nightmarish witches all the time
>only looking pretty as a Saya no Uta tier illusion

>felt like watching some random shitty anime
Some things are just wasted on watching sober.

Surrealism is the goto for every shitty writer who can't write a coherent narrative.

You won't believe but at that time it made a perfect sense to me.
It was pretty much the best ride ever.

Delete this.

Everything good that can be described as surrealistic actually does have a fairly cohesive and intelligible narrative. Like Yuasa can be really pretentious but the plots make sense. Urobuchi is just a bad writer. Someone like >>159938088 might not be exactly wrong, it might make sense to them but making something surrealistic and leaving it up to subjective interpretation is laziness trying to cover itself as artistic.
