Nobody has ever provided any evidence of the existence of pandering in anime. There is so much logistics and technicalities that go into making an anime and studios that have multiple sections and branches with people coming and going outsourcing and all that falls under a title they use for advertising. It's Directors, writers, and producers that effect the outcome of a series the most- not a studio.
