Did you enjoy it?
I had heard the hype for years and eventually ended up watching it. What a disappointment. I kept waiting and waiting for it to get better and then it ended.
At least the soundtrack was good
I could post better tits all day
TTGL counts as ecchi because of the fanservice
I fucking hated the ending
>We know you will make the same mistakes again, that's we don't you on the surface
>Nuh uh, we wont make the same mistakes fuck you
Good job not learning a fucking thing Simon, you dumb shit.
Why wouldn't it?
Yoko is constantly in a bikini, her tits bounce around all the time and her nipples, alongside Nia's nipples, are visible in the movie
I thought it was peak of shounen and I actually enjoyed the timeskip. That being said. GAINAX shows aren't really my taste
, despite TTGL being the first anime I ''seriously'' watched
I already started
Tastes are subjective, I love it personally but I can understand why some people don't
>while they jack it to shitty siscons
Where the fuck did this come from?
Nu /a/'s opinion on mecha anime is to be actively disregarded. Don't even fucking mention any decent mech shows here. No one here has seen anything that isn't Gainax or some random episodes of Gundam dubs. TTGL is a mecha anime for mecha anime's most hardcore fans. It's a fucking masterpiece.
>posts an image of Judau
Honestly TTGL is barely even mecha. There is a mecha feel in the earlier episodes up till about 8 but afterwards it feels more akin to individual character powers than giant robots.
Well, in a mecha show that would preferably refer to a character who makes callbacks to popular mecha or maybe even someone has hot-blood as Kamina who was a throwback in and of himself. Hell, that one sexy mechanic err'd more on fanservice character than Yoko, the latter in which just consisted of anime tiddie.
I'm guessing you didn't like the ending of Samurai Jack?
Not him but Gundam Unicorn had at least one great episode.
Like nearly any other GAINAX show. IIRC, the Gundam ova that proto-GAINAX worked on is the one with the least fights. I'll be damned if it wasn't one of the ones I hold near and dear to my heart though.
>Like nearly any other GAINAX show.
I thought Gunbuster and NGE had a pretty good giant robot feel, though NGE teetered on the organic side a lot (which was what made it so scary).
Is her rack overrated and mostly due to fan art? The Tifa of anime as such?
Perhaps I'm just too much of a /m/an but Eva can only be discussed as mecha in jest or in a "this isn't on-topic but its interesting anyways."
Similarly, I have never seen a discussion of Gunbuster that hasn't devolved into "Noriko has nice tits" or "fuck Anno".
On a more personal note, I'm not a fan of Super Robot.
They're pretty big during the show, almost too much for my taste. I'm a fan of her shorts, actually.
>Kashi fans in charge of taste
Its not a criticism, I'm just pointing out that even for super robot standards, TTGL doesn't really stick to the giant robot motif. Gurren Lagann itself morphs, regenerates completely, and focuses more on the use of spiral energy rather than the fact its a robot.
Even the more crazy super robots like Getter don't really tread into that territory. It happened once in Go when they brought out Shin Getter, but it was only because the robot itself was so powerful that it would effectively smack into the limits of the mass and energy conversion formula and turn into pure energy, nearly melding everyone inside both physically and mentally.
Yoko, like Tifa, has a decently sized bust that outshines everyone else in her world
Yet doesn't compare to a girl with actual big tits
How wrong you are
For the bustiest girl in her show, she's too small
You really need to watch more anime
Most anime boobs are well shaped
Well given Tifa's actual anime appearance...
Depends on the context
As a generic anime girl, they're good
As the fanservice/poster girl, they're average
As a main character AND fanservice/poster girl of an ecchi series, if you consider TTGL as such, they're mediocre
Wasn't she much younger in that scene though?
This. They did her that way in VII because of the artstyle and so she'd stand out. I mean, she's meant to have a decent rack but they aren't the size of her head.
not really, felt like a lot of supposed 'kino'
weird propaganda that liars are telling me is actually very deep and important
it's ultimately a grim, humanistic narrative which ends in sadness for the best individuals, in other words, garbage that is essentially satanic in scope
Shift to a more realistic artstyle, and she already had official measurements, meaning people expected her to look like pic related based on her distorted FF7 look while she was actually confirmed as being smaller
They ditched her massive titty monster proportions from FF7 when they shifted to their "realistic" new art style for Advent Children and new spinoffs. She's now an average size for video games.
Expect that to be the norm for the remake too, so RIP cartoony titty monster Tifa
>actual big tits
Are you claiming Yoko does not have big tits?
She's in a death spiral
>Did you enjoy it?
Yes, i legit think TTGL is my favourite Anime and my second most favourite Cartoon ever only beaten by Avatar The Last Airbender
Average size as far as anime goes
You missed the point of the ending. The message of the story is given by Kamina several times. You have to keep looking and moving forward and keep your eyes on the horizon. You'll never get anywhere if you regret and keep looking back. Lordgenome and the Anti-Spiral were characters that stopped moving forward and stopped others from moving forward due to their fear of what could be beyond the horizon. After Kamina dies, Simon also can't look forward because he's dwelling on Kamina's death.
Simon grows as a character and takes on Kamina's ideals and continues moving forward through stagnation, even if there are risks and costs. The conclusion of his character growth is marked by Nia's death at the end of the series. They were both aware that she would die if they stopped the Anti-Spiral, but they moved forward anyway, and Simon didn't dwell in despair like he did after Kamina died. The Spiral Nemesis is another risk that moving forward holds, and while people research how to prevent it, the series purposely leaves it open-ended because it may end up happening no matter what. It's the cost of progress, but the moral of the story is that you shouldn't stop moving forward because you're afraid of what lies ahead. That's the whole drill symbolism, since drills can only move forward to do something and can't do anything by going backwards.
that is not average
>I miss old /a/
And that is fanart
Asmodeus is big, Medaka is big, Yoko is average
A bust size in the high 80s/low 90s is average in anime
That's what the cartoon style lended itself to, her having massive boobs. I don't see why it's a problem to think she should stay as a huge chested character rather than get shrunken down to average like she did.
Her bust size is 92
92 isn't as huge as the original chibi art style would have you believe
She's supposed to be smaller than pic related, and nowhere close to Akeno's size
first half of the pre-timeskip was a boring jog through the desert but then it kicks up it satisfies
post-timeskip has too many Rossiu bits but once that is taken care of it gets good again
>A veritable Nietzschean epic
NEET-Chan wouldn´t have approved of mindless "muh drive to expand" wanking. Drilling holes into the heavens and punching God in the face, maybe, but TTGL lacks the Snake (while having too much of the Eagle) and the dancing spirit of Dyonisus.
