>mfw there's no Kakegurui thread
cmon it's the AOTS
I don't get how yumeko would be so sure that the life bet on this game would turn to be 24, was it because the girl dealing the swords would help her into getting that number so that she wouldn't mock yuriko's name anymore??
Of course it's AOTS
She wasn't sure, that was the point, even Yuriko doesn't have 100% chance of winning. Yumeko bet on one of the outer numbers, which are the only ones the dealer can manipulate into being hit, which was also a number Yuriko had bet on.
She increased her odds, but in the end left it to luck.
We know the President did something to ensure Yuriko didn't lose. It's irrelevant how but a magnet in the floorspace just makes the most sense.
You are such a gay faggot anon
are you serious? every anime girl ever who gets touched by the MC has to punch him, it's a cardinal rule of all anime. Also the MC is supposed to get a nose bleed or blush or whatever.
After he lost to Yumeko he's literally owned by the closest thing he has to a waifu.
Dunno bout AOTS but dat gambling-hime made my dick diamonds.
Picked the fuck up
Probably because he is too honest and wouldn't be swayed against her when a gamble gets unfair. She will need allies she can trust for whatever reason she arrived to that school. Vengeance for someone? Crush the school's system? We don't now right now
If Yumeko has any endgame in mind it's probably to do with her hospitalised older sister.
Being blood relations with Kirari and Ririka, Yumeko and her sister were likely targeted by the other batshit members of the -Bami's. Whether Yumeko actually cares about revenge remains to be seen though.
Because it's either that or you lack tension, or you do games that aren't real.
I honestly don't like gambling manga that go extreme too much. I enjoy watching real life poker championships and stuff so I just like the skill of it which would obviously make for a boring anime.
love the music
the atmosphere, music, and character mindfucking reminds me of how Kaiji made me feel. I hope there's a season 2 after this. I want it to follow the manga till the end.
Someone needs to shop her with an Ultramarine cup with Blood Ravens decals slapped on it.
>Drawfags where are thee
It's a good cliche but it wasn't executed properly in this anime.
>"how did you know when I was doing the signs"
>she JUST happened to had a mirror, but we didn't show her using it once because fuck you
>"This much is nothing"
>Becomes a pet
What happened to her money? She said it right then that it wasn't that much. Bitch flaunts a lot of money, and she didn't get the Death penalty, so how the fuck did she become a Mike? Just her lying for the sake of drama?
It's not that great. Ridiculously talented protagonist wins contrived games rigged against her for maximum suspense that quickly exits the room when it becomes clear that there will likely never be any real uncertainty of the outcome, makes lewd expressions.
She likely memorized how the board was oriented and then surmised where the sword would have fallen based on where the dealers hand was while shaking the pot.
Nice taste. Kaede's gamble is underrated, Sugita will rock that HAI ROADO.
Yumeko doesn't care about money, she's a Momobami so she's impossibly wealthy already. Being a pet doesn't faze her.
Is Yumeko is the only pet who isn't actually treated like a pet? I don't remember many scenes where she gets bullied once it gets out that she's staying as a pet on purpose for public match rights.
I suppose everyone learnt their lesson after Kiwatari tried it and got destroyed at the debt assembly. Between then and her paying off the debt I can't remember anybody bullying her again no.
>Yumeko literally exposes Meari's trick of throwing paper at high bets
>super high bet
>Meari still throws paper after yumeko figured it out
Why is she so dumb
>It never feels like anything is actually at stake
Is the "being millions of yen in debt to the point that you have to live your life as a literal pet" not enough for you or is it flying over your head?
I assume you're a mangafag who knows what will happen next. Because my prediction is that she's just going to use that official match option that livestock gets to make an even more insane bet and win back her money twentyfold next episode.
If you weren't a braindead summerfag maybe you'd just read the manga before posting your retarded opinions. After the next gamble they don't gamble for money again.
It is still statistically the safe move due to the supposedly lower quantity of scissors in the deck. Giving away that she knew the trick also could have easily been meant to psyche her out as throwing rock would mean losing to paper which had greater representation than scissors. Yumeko revealing that she knew the trick at all would to the logical observer without knowledge of her Just as planned, equal risk gambling fetish be an indication that she couldn't play scissors as that would counter the paper strategy automatically.
>NYEEE HEH HEH HEH.
So we've met worst girl already. What's the appeal of adding one dimensional characters who's main character trait is to be annoying.
I hope she gets absolutely fucking destroyed and mind raped until she can't think anymore.
This. The second game was just "muh memorization" bullshit instead of an exciting game of wits and strategy. The actual gambling in this show sucks and there are no stakes because the debts are handwaved because everyone is rich.
This isn't a show about gambling. It's a show about cheaters getting absolutely destroyed by a supernatural lie detector.
The appeal is watching smug sociopaths get spanked by a REAL sociopath.
Fuck off. I don't have the time to read every mango that has pretty girls on the cover. And like hell I'm going to consume the same story twice within a timeframe of a few weeks or months.
You literally just saw her lose the right to live. Right now in the manga Mary and Suzui are saving her life, though it's not like she'll actually die.
Then why don't you stick to MAL where you belong? I'm sure you and your 'predictions' will fit right in.
trying to copy manga artstyle too hard and it's hot at times
she picks him randomly and gets sad when she thinks he might just be a follower and doesn't think for himself but get relieved when she realizes he does think for himself
it actually wouldn't make a boring anime
"So you flatted preflop instead of three betting.
You called a 322dd flop, flatted 7o turn, and now you mean to tell me you have me beat on a Jo river? You can only have three hands: 33, 22 (quads), 77. You would 3b JJ preflop, so that can't be it.
You are more likely to have a straight flush draw or a nut flush draw to take it this far, so I call.
and the crowd goes wild
Visuals and voice acting are pretty damn good.
I think the source material is a bit lacking in terms of characters though. Other than that I'd say it's worth watching. Plus, it has a bonerific OP.
