Indeed. Looking back at the source material, I can now definitely say that it's a very good adaptation. Koyasu (abs VA) must be having a blast voicing his character and the other VAs are quite good as well. That insert song, Boku kara Kimi e, is pretty dope and always comes up in the perfect moment.

I hope someone picks up the manga though. It's less wordy compared to other gags so it shouldn't be that hard to work on.

Does the manga ever try to be a football manga or does it stuff mostly gags because of the football scenes are trash so far. I don't think I could stomach a full blown tournament arc.
