I was just thinking about it and I think a major point about this series for Index fans is watching powerful people stripped of their power and having to fight somebody on equal ground. I can see why Kamijou has at least some fans when I think about it from this point of view. Maybe I just enjoy Railgun more because I like some of the qualities that has to offer over the one that Index does. I guess it's fair point to say you can't accuse any of the two of being a smart series in the first place. It's just all personal opinion.
